@maddy... r u sure tht list is correct...? kank's numbers dont seem 2 b tru, m sure they sed tht movie was a flop...it didnt do well at BO... and evn TMK was a flop...

Salman Khan is a huge star in India and his popularity grows as shown in polls taken. In Mumbai, he is mobbed on a daily basis. When he joined twitter he had the highest amount people joining as well. Abroad, it varies.

SRK is still the biggest star worldwide unfortunately.

Salman is bigger in India but SRK is right up there with him there but overseas Salman can't touch SRK.

According to BOI KANK was a domestic hit and overseas ATBB.

These figures are not inflation adjusted thats why SRK's older films look way down. By the way inflation is going I am sure sooner or later someone like Shahid Kapoor will hit 500 cr.

Coming to stardom it varies every year. Past couple of years have been very good for Salman in the domestic market but even he hasnt been able to touch SRK's stardom among the NRIs. Before that SRK ruled both domestic and international.
