India has voted and chosen the Times 50 Most Desirable Men of 2011. The 3.74 lakh votes received on www.itimes.com/polls along with our vote decided the winners. Salman Khan has topped the list this year.
The actor is currently shooting in Cuba for an upcoming movie. It has been a steady rise for Bollywood braveheart and the public's sweetheart, who climbed up from no. 8 in 2009 to no. 2 in 2010, and finally to the top of the list this year.
All the A-List actresses are clamouring for a role in his films. Any role will do. As things stand, he is the man with the Midas touch.
His films have guaranteed fantastic openings that box office legends are made of, and he has continued to remain the darling of several brands. Despite being a superstar, Salman would rather conserve his energies for a more charitable cause, one that is close to his heart and which he promotes every chance he gets.
