So, he has been someone I liked for God knows how many years...and even though I say now that I ain't a fan of any, I know that somewhere deep down I might still like this guy. I don't really like him for his films but rather his persona that he sort of portrays through his films and offscreen (what we get to see very little of on TV) and the charm his onscreen characters exude.

I know in the past few years that BW is not really what it seems onscreen...these actors/celebrities that we adore may not be what we love them for ...even the exact opposite at times. And I guess, that's what turned me off and sidelined Bwood for me. Now, I rarely watch their movies ...prolly, a couple in a year. But, I ain't no deewani like before...😒

Anywho, when I saw this topic yesterday "SRK beats up Kunder" ...I seriously thought it must be a joke or something funny about the two...but boy oh boy, I was shocked when I read what actually happened. But you know what, I have no qualms in believing that SRK really did do that, even if it was only a slap. Assault is assault. I totally detest Sallu for these very things and all his history of assaulting ppl (be it Ash, Vivek, reporters, or some strangers..). This was extremely unnecessary no matter how low Shirish was stooping or however much he provoked you, SRK!

-I do believe that this fight happened.

-Maybe they all were drunk (this is also a point I'm not liking since SRK has always claimed, even KJo has told that Shah doesn't drink...)

-I don't think this was all planned cuz it's too damaging to be planned.

-Kunder insulting Manyata or misbehaving? It may have happened, maybe not to a huge extent ...but to all ppl saying why would they invite him if he misbehaves with her...well, HELLO, how in the world would they know what he would do in his drunkard state? They sure aren't psychics.

-The pics/video of Sanjay and SRK coming out of party clearly show some kinda tension in the air... especially, when they are talking near his car and Sanjay tells everyone to turn their cameras off.

I am really disappointed in Shah as a fan that I was for years. I know he is very hot blooded...and remember Maddy and all, how we were discussing he has controlled himself over the years (oh, the irony!)...well, there goes it all pani main....itnay saal ki image buildup!

Shah Rukh Khan's enviable PR machinery has surely got into action. Till yesterday, Shirish Kunder was being projected as the aggrieved party - an innocent person minding his own business being attacked bby an inebriated superstar. But now it seems the tables have turned. SRK loyalists have come up with their own side of the story.
According to them, it was Shirish who was drunk and misbehaved wit...h SRK, which is why he got beaten up.
These same sources revealed to a newspaper and said, "Shirish started to tail Shah Rukh saying, 'I am waiting'I am waiting.' He even followed him to the men's room and deliberately bumped into him.
After he came out of the washroom Shah Rukh went up to Shirish, held him by the neck and said, 'My children were very hurt when you tweeted about the movie. I had promised them I would slap you when I meet you next but I won't. I am just warning you that don't mess with me.'
To this, Shirish is said to have retorted: 'I give a f*** about you,' sending Shah Rukh into a rage. The sources continue that after hearing this, Shah Rukh first pulled Kunder's hair as he tried to escape, then his tee-shirt, and slapped him then sat astride him as he tried to hit Kunder again, saying, 'I'll destroy you, and throw you out of the industry. Aur tere friend ko ja ke bol mein uski maar doonga.' while Sanjay Dutt and others tried to separate the two men,
But by this time SRK was so angry that even when his 'good friend' Priyanka Chopra tried to intervene, he brushed her aside.
Just then Shirish tried to get up and drunkenly staggered in Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata's direction. This enraged Sanju baba who also slapped him. Shirish has, however, denied that Dutt had slapped him. Onlookers insist otherwise.
In his defence, Shirish had this to say,
"I did not provoke Shah Rukh Khan. One never expects that someone will come and attack you like this. There were three bodyguards around him so it was a clear signal for me to be quiet."
The same sources also say that had earlier in the evening annoyed director Indra Kumar by misbehaving with his daughter. "Fortunately, she can take care of herself," said Indra Kumar.
What a right royal mess his has turned out to be!
There will be more stories that will follow. SRK will never come out in the open and say what happened. This is the modus operandi he adopted in his fight with Salman too and it reaped him rich dividends.
Shirish and Farah will not take panga with Sanjay Dutt so they will deny that Sanju slapped Shirish even if he did.
Salman too will not react openly to what SRK said about him to Shirish but will ensure that the enmity between the two Khans lives on forever.
By making comments in favour of SRK, Ameesha Patel and Dabboo Ratnani have openly taken sides and will never be in the good books of Salman again.

Yesterday I had written that the most interesting part of the SRK-Shirish Kunder saga will be the reaction of Salman Khan, SRK's main adversary, to this whole drama.
Now it seems that Sallu did call up Shirish from Cuba, where he is shooting for a film, to inquire about his well-being. And not without good reason. Apparently, the several eyewitnesses, who all have different stories to tell about t...his incident, claim that SRK abused Salman in front of Shirish. SRK reportedly told Shirish, 'I'll destroy you, and throw you out of the industry. Aur tere friend ko ja ke bol mein uski maar doonga.'
As I said earlier, "Is thappad ki goonj bahut door tak sunayi degi."
I have been proved right once again and the sound of this slap has resonated across continents and has now got Salman involved too. Of course, Sallu is not the one to forgive or forget easily especially where SRK is concerned, so this incident will have repercussions far beyond anyone's control. Bollywood surely is in for a stormy year ahead.

It was in 2008 at Katrina Kaif's 24th birthday party that Shah Rukh Khan said something so derogatory about Aishwarya Rai that her former boyfriend Salman Khan couldn't take it and had a massive row with SRK. Since that time Bollywood has been as it was never before. Today you are either SRK's friend or Salman's - today you either attend SRK's parties or Salman's events - today you are either in Salman's or SRK's camps. You simply cannot juggle both. Now with this latest slapping incident, the film industry in Mumbai will be even more polarised with the battle lines being drawn even further. The sound of this slap will resonate for many years to come. Is thappad ki goonj door tak sunayi degi.
