Looking at at it from his POV, I can understand Sanjay's concern over his daughter joining the world of glitz and glamour. There are pple that are ready to exploit and take advantage of you. On the other hand, he is coming across as a sexist/hypocritical man. After all, he is an actor, his father was an actor and so was his mother. So I don't think he should stop his daughter and he should let her choose her own path.

He has the right to... and many families are still conservative and do not want their women to enter the industry. I am quite happy his sister at least listened to him, unlike Esha.

Umm.. But to expect conservatism from others, you yourself must be conservative right? Practice before you preach funda... 🤔

He was fooling around with women, which was all over the news. I mean, he's been in tonnes of controversies..

as a father SD has the right to give his opinion to Trishala but shes an adult and the last call is hers! if Trishala still wants to become an actress then SD should support her decision because if she goes through the struggle herself then for sure she'll face the shady side of bollywood. i doubt Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha have had to face the dirty side of the business and thats because their fathers support them!

i began following Trishala on twitter after one of her interviews last year. she lost a lot of weight, takes hindi lessons since she has an accent and is really passionate about acting and films.

Sanjay hasnt been a good father up till now... its time he supports and respects her decisions!!

ps. read this comment on Pinkvilla... she finished her BA degree which is 4 years in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice located in NYC😊

^^yeh she has always been interested in that sort of stuff, and is very intelligent, I feel that Sanjay feels that it will be a waste if she joins movies! he finds being a lawyer or police officer more respectable! but if he can join movie so can his daughter! otherwise that is just plain unfair!

tru bt luk @ big b...evn he didnt let shweta act, bt he is ok with his D-I-L acting after marriage while he did recommend jaya 2 quit acting after they got married and had kids.. this was said back in the day, and she did eventually quit, which nw she claims was jus 4 her children. 🤔 so u knw they sumtyms change der opinions very quickly...i dnt think SD wud eva stop her from entering movies, bt from her interviews it seems she aint 2 interested in BW herself

Its his daughter, he is entitled to have a say but I do find him to be chauvinistic in his interviews. Trishala is an adult who can make her own choices, if she wants to enter films that is her choice. From the interviews I've read with Trishala, she is tough and is perfectly capable of handling herself.

OK, so you're point is that AB showed hypocrisy? Sorry, but I couldn't relate your reply to my post. What were you trying to imply?
