So really which movie/album deserves the award apart from Rockstar, it may not be Rahman's best work, but certainly better then a lot crap that hits the charts. I love all the songs from the album, can't say the same about any other film, maybe a song here and there but not the entire album. Rahman has lost a bit of spark lately but still better then most, as the saying goes aandho mein kaana raaja 😆

Rockstar and ZNMD are two superficial and overrated flicks. Small budget movies are not winning anything... stanley ka dabba, dhobi ghaat, NOKJ, i am kalam, shaitan, that girl in yellow boots and many others. I don't mind TDP winning.. but not Rockstar and ZNMD... they are as pretentious as Bodyguard and ra.one.

TDP is a Small budget. but I was really surprised that it grossed over 125 Crores... It actually grossed more than Rockstar with 105 crores.

To each their own, I have yet to have patience with hearing Rockstar as a full album without falling asleep. Even as single songs, there are way more entertaining songs in other albums.

Better, fuller and more entertaining albums were Ra One, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, The Dirty Picture etc for me

TDP is a small budget movie but still it got huge publicity like any other biggie. But yes its pretty cool how it grossed more than other big movies.

On another note, i am surprised that pri didn't win anything? She seems really cuatious these days.. to not make any OTT statements or to win anything unfairly. She receives flak for her surgeries.. and for alleged affair with srk.. but she seems to cashing in on the attention she is getting due to the srk factor... but on other hand she is trying to maintain that she is neutral and doesn't belong to his camp...blah blah blah... i want to see how all this ends for her later..

It's so obvious!!!

Even if some critics praise his performance in Don2, it does not even come close to Ranbir's performance in Rockstar...ALL critics were bowled over by Ranbir's performance in Rockstar.

Best actor popular should have been between SRK and Salman...

A jury award is about ACTING...and a popular award is about your ability to drag audiences to the theater...how much the audiences love you...it's not about acting.

Ranbir had to settle with popular just because SRK's ego just couldn't take it...That's really sad.

What a disgrace.

Its pathetic that they had to manufacture new categories so that Don2 and Ra One could win and Ego Khan would host & attend. Hopefully he and PC made fun of their own duds- Don 2, Ra.One and Saath Khoon Maaf.🤢

Im surprised they didnt make some fake award for PC and Shahid. The international icon award is a joke... prob made so that Katrina could attend ( that too in her birth place 😆)

Filmfare - Best Actor is gonna b a battle between Ego Khan and Ranbir. Pretty sure one will get the consolation prize aka jury award. 🥱

Congrats VB. Clearly no competition at all for her this year.😛

agree but if they r not giving awards to small budget and deserving ones then i will prefer Rockstar over ZMND and Ra one and Ranbir over Hritik and SRK ...
