In a sharp detour from his straight-laced roles in Aamir and Shaitan, Rajeev Khandelwal plays a colourful casanova in his next release. The actor admits that it wasn't easy to change gears and do a romantic comedy like Will You Marry Me? "Initially, it was not easy and I took my time to get comfortable and get into the groove of a romantic comedy. Director Aditya Datt was very convinced that I should play this casanova character, Rajveer. I asked him if he was sure. But he had a very refreshing approach towards the film," says Rajeev.

In the film, Rajeev has to mouth dialogues like "Yeh sex day kab aayega" and "Teri first kiss maine dilvaayi, tera pehla condom maine khareed ke diya?" When asked how he dealt with it, he responds, "That's the part of the character. The film is about youngsters who have not experienced much in life. Throughout the film, there are these one-liners that you may find funny, interesting or stupid."
The actor admits that he would have loved to have been a casanova in his young days, but he was too simple or nave to be one.

Sporting a new look in the film he says took a lot of convincing from the director. "I was growing my hair for some other project and my hair is naturally curly. There are two looks in the film – the curly-haired-one and the straight-haired one," says the actor.

Like Rajeev Khandelwal's Previous Movies, This Does Not Make You Cry, This Does Give Out A Message, Neither Does It Teach You What Is Right & Wrong, All The Movie Does Is Entertain You & Give You A Fair Share Amounts Of Laughs...Rajeev Was Simply Brilliant In The Movie..Once Again Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal Has Proved His Worth & Skill As A Refined Experimenting Actor...A Good Watch...Quite Interesting...Rajeev Was Really Nice..& I Was Drooling Over Rajeev All Through The Movie...😊

Then The Confrontation Of Aarav With His Two Friends Is Too Interesting.. Like Rajeev Khandelwal's Previous Movies, This Does Not Make You Cry, This Does Give Out A Message, Neither Does It Teach You What Is Right & Wrong, All The Movie Does Is Entertain You & Give You A Fair Share Amounts Of Laughs...Rajeev Was Simply Brilliant In The Movie..Once Again Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal Has Proved His Worth & Skill As A Refined Experimenting Actor...A Good Watch...Quite Interesting... Rajeev Was Really Nice..& I Was Drooling Over Rajeev All Through The Movie..But Before Giving My Full Review On Rajeev & His Character..Let Me Talk About The Movie First, Well The Movie Is About The Choices One Makes In Life...It Is A Fun Movie To Watch... It Is Different...But It Could Have Been Given A Different Treatment, Which Is More Precise...There Are Some Loose Ends In The Movie... There Are Unbelievable Things Too, I Mean Seriously Ek Chottu Se Cigarette Bud Ke Saath Saare Mandap Mein Kahiin Aag Lagthi Hai Kya... The Director & Script Writer Could Have Added Some Hard Hitting Dialogues...The Movie Was Dragged & Clinched At Places Too...The Place Where Nikhil & Rajveer Are Betting, Starts Getting Boring As You See The Same Type Of Scenes For 10 To 15 Minutes On-Screen..The Movie Is Predictable Too, Instances Like Where The Audience Would Already Guess That Rajveer Would Loose The Money In The Share Market & The Cricket Matches, These Are Predictable & Clinched Scenes..But Even After Saying All This It Is A Fun Watch, It Keeps The Audience Entertained All Throughout The Movie...It Makes The Audience Laugh.. It Could Have Been Much Better, But This Would Do, It Is Good In It's Own Way..I Have Complaint Dubai Is A Beautiful Place & The Scenery Was Not Effectively Captured...The Essence Of The Place Was Not Shown...I Felt It Was Confined, While Talking About The Cinematography...The Songs Were Played In Very Quick Intervals, Supermen Will Crack One Up, Kalma Would Give One A Entertaining Feeling, Tu Ru Tu With Sneha Rajveer Gives The Love Is In Air Feeling & Soniye Comes With The Flow & Makes One Feel Sad...I Like These Four Song Sequences In The Movie Very Much... These Songs Are Catchy...But I Feel The Songs Could Have Been Much Better In Terms Of Lyrics & Music...But Yaa While The Songs Are Playing, One Cannot Help But Sing Along... Then Let Me Talk About The Actors In The Movie..Well Straight To The Point, The Actors Who Play Nikhil's Parents & The Woman Who Plays Anjali's Mother, They Are Simply Wasted..They Really Have No Role At All...I Don't Even Know What They Are Doing There... Then Coming To The Actor Playing Anjali's Father, Manoj Joshi...He Has A Few Dialogues, He Is Ok In His Role.. Not Impressive Though, But We Can't Ignore Him Too..& Just That He Adds Dimension To The Movie... Hmmm...Then Bobby Darling In The Role Of The Designer Jaiswal, Was Funny...Then Talking About Anjali, Tripta Parashar, Well Her Character Is Of A Person Who Is Silly, Who Cribs & Is A Cry Baby, She Played Her Part Well..But She Was Surely Irritating In Her Role At Times...Then Talking About Paresh Rawal, He Was Good In His Role...Whatever Small Part He Did, He Made His Presence Felt...So That Was Good... Talking About Celina Jaitely, Well It Would Be Better If I Did Not Say Anything About Her At All... She Seriously Has No Role To Play In The Movie...& The Little Bit She Plays Is Not Good...I Did Not Like Her One Bit In The Movie...Then Talking About The Leading Lady Of The Movie, Sneha, Played By Mughda Godse, Well She Can Be Considered As A Side Actor In The Film, As The Movie Is About The Three Guy Friends...But Whatever Her Role Was It Was Fine..Chal Jaayega...Not Very Interesting Or Impressive, But She Managed To Play Her Part Well...But Her Role Could Have Been Better...Then Talking About, Nikhil, Played By Muzammil Ibrahim, He Played His Character Well...He Came As A Surprise Actually...He Was Interesting To Watch...& Proves Himself To Be A Very Good Friend By The End Of The Movie...Then Moving On To The Next Character Aarav, Shreyas Talpade, For The First Time I Felt May Be Shreyas Was Uncomfortable In His Role..Comedy Is His Forte, But Something Was Surely Lacking In His Role..He Was Fine, Not Very Good, Not Very Bad...Last But Not The Least, Let Me Talk About The Actor & Character, Jiske Liye Main 'Will You Marry Me' Dekhne Gayi Thi...If It Was Not For Rajeev Khandelwal, If 'Will You Marry Me' Did Not Include Rajeev Khandelwal In The Star Cast Then I Would Have Never Seen The Movie At All..It Is For Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal I Saw The Movie & For Me It Was Completely Worth It...It Was Completely A Paisa Vasool Experience For Me...Rajveer, Played By Rajeev Khandelwal, A Guy Who Is The Cool Dude, Who Give A Damn To What Others Think, A Guy Who Is Wicked, A Guy Who Is Manipulative, A Guy Who Is Greedy, A Guy Who Is Not Expressive, But Even With All Of These Flaws In The Character Of Rajveer As A Person, One Cannot Take It Away From Him That He Cares, He Has Emotions, He Wants To Falls In Love, But Just That He Pretends To Be Someone Else, Does Not Take Away His Real Self, His Goodness, Which Is Subtly Portrayed In Small Scenes In Little Moments In The Movie, Just Cannot Be Taken Away From Him...It Is Just The Way He Is...
