😕 It makes me wonder why Ranbir is not being known for blockbuster hits or hits, why just semi-hits? I think it is interesting to note that such a talented guy is only 8 films old! I absolutely loved his performance in Rockstar, even though I did not like the film. He has shown such an amazing progression in his films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Raajneeti, and Rockstar. Both of his hits were with Katrina (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti). But, I want him to have a hit without Kat. Rockstar was just declared a semi-hit after its concluding gross despite making over 100 crore worldwide! The budget was nearly 70 crore, which is why I didn't think it got a hit status in India. With upcoming films in Barfee and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, will these be also semi-hits? 😲 I certainly hope not! He is clearly the best actor of his generation and I hope he gets more blockbusters and hits to his credit, not semi-hits!

NO , bcz its just the starting of his career , he has a Long way to go

abt Semi hits ...kuch to de raha hai na instead of Flops unlike other actors of his time ... and its a big thing

because the types of movies he has done is less commercial and more perform oriented roles.. wake up sid, rockstar, rocket singh. Azab prem ki ghazab kahini has katrina plus its comedy and commercial. Raajneeti is multi-starrer film so the credit goes to everyone.

Anyways i rather watch rocket singh than azab prem ki ghazab kahini. And he has long way to go.. its just the beginning

Yes, I agree that Ranbir still has a long way to go! 😃 But, he should be doing more films. Doing 1 or 2 films a year is not enough to cash in on his growing popularity. The youth wants more of him! He should do at least 3-4 films a year. Ranbir can probably tackle other genres like action or comedy. There is a growing demand for his screen presence! Of course, he cares about quality more than quantity. Ranbir is clearly doing better than Imran in terms of quality films and great performances. I think Barfee will be a success, just hope it is handled maturely since Anurag Basu is coming back after the medicore Kites!!! 😕

I think Ranbir is going to go the more commercial route with Karan Johar's next featuring Deepika! That will be surely a full-on entertainer. He has good chemistry with Deepika. 😉 Barfee will be the performance of a lifetime. So, I think he is balancing 2012 well. I think both films will result in commercial success for him once again!!!

It would always be more awesome if his good movies become super duper blockbusters but I think the reason why I like Ranbir so much is he doesnt normally do the mainstream type movies (except for BAH, APGKG, Rajneeti) AND he excels in every role.

Also, looking at the shitty type of movies that become blockbusters these days, I'd rather have his movies become hits, semi-hits or even flops.

Kuch bhi ho...ladka talented hai! He is one of the few younger actors who has proved to be a good actor and he has a lot of mass appeal & heartthrob title etc. I am excitied for his films and have a strong feeling he will rule in the comming years! I mean, I dislike him offscreen so I am saying this geuinely.

😆 Oh Eraser, I know you drool over Ranbir! ☺️ Ranbir is truly a heartthrob. Do you think he can do an action film and kick some major ***?! I think he can. He is truly verstaile. If he can do a movie like Rockstar, doing a typical Hindi action film would be a piece of cake for him! I bet you would be spamming the forum with your admiration and how hot he looks girly girly!!! 😳😆
