after all they also gave Ready and Singham and contributed a lot ...they also deserve an award ...its unfair

Bodyguard and Raone had 5 day weekends..Wednesday and Thursday added 40 to 45 crores for both films..

In the US DON 2 had 5 days weekend and the film made more than Ra one and Bodyguard.

IF Bebo replaced PC in Don2...how many more crores would Don 2 have made..

5 crores..10 crores ..15 crores/

KJO's attitude toward Bebo reflects on how much she inspires directors to make films with her..Not one Single big ,top league director has given her any role of any significance,in her entirecareer..the freshers who became hit directors move on to others..

So Kat gets a hot item number, Ferrari,Dostana 2..

He is making big films Dostana,YJHD,2 states..Meluha etc...

What has he given Bebo so far.. Small filler films with small actors?

IMO Bebo would have add 0 crores to Don 2..what are your figures?

I didn't thing SRK would win this because of Sallu 😆 But overseas I can understand..Don 2 is the highest grosser overseas..it beat Ra.One's lifetime collections in some places in just a few days...I think it was something liek 2 days.

Desigal, you very conveniently forgot that Ready and Don 2 did not release on holidays and did not have extended weekends like BG and Ra.One did in India so there's no way their opening weekend could have beaten BG and Ra.1's anyways when a good 35-45 crores came from Wednesday-Thursday alone for both BG and Ra1. 😛

flop kehne se koi movie flop nahi hojati..blue n Ra1 budgets r above 100crs...

bt blue dint even colected less than half of Ra1😆...

Bodyguard- 145 aprox(india) + 43 aprox(oversaes)

total contribution to cinema this year = 340 croes (aprox)

SRK

Ra one- 127 aprox(India) + 55(overseas)
DON2- 115(expected) india + 75(0versaes) expected

total contribution to cinema this year = 370 croes (aprox)

Still if any one has a doubt why these two get this awards, contact KRK..

The verdict of a film depends on the cost and selling rpice. That's why Ready remains as an ATTB and Ra one remained as a HIT around similar collections( similar number of ticket selling and viewer count)

I can be wrong in calculations, but these two guys gifted 300 croes plus for cinema through their movies hence this .

Chocolover, Don 2 released on Christmas, the same holiday 3 Idiots released on in 2009 and shattered many many records, so that's not really saying anything.

You2, forget about 5 days then, what about opneing records?

Opening can be compared then, right?

Both Ra.One and Bodyguard took on HUGE openings, more than Ready and Don 2.

I think its about time that people admit that Kareena DOES add value to her films.

A Shahrukh & Kareena film will DEFINITELY get a bigger opening then Shahrukh & *insert XYZ*

People get excited at seeing A superstar and top actress paired together vs one superstar with random actress.

And someone had a point. If Kareena doesnt add anything, why do the Khans/producers even bother signing her up?

And thanks for mentioning Johar, coz he's been a very loyal director to Kareena.

KHNH went to her first.

He wanted her for Dostana but Abhishek was not comfortable workign with her, and since the two male leads were important, he had to compromise.

But since Dostana didnt work out, he roped her in for Kurbaan. (Both Kurbaan and Dostana were conceived at the same time. Saif was offered both films and asked to choose, and he opted for Kurbaan)

After that, he brought her together with Kajol in a very ambitious project (that went wrong, but that's another story)

More recently, he wanted to bring Hrithik and Kareena back togehter for Agneepath, but that didnt work out, so he launched Ek Main Aurr Ek Tu at the same time and roped her in with Imran.

So you can see, she's been a regular at Dharma.
