Priyadarshan's original and sequel on the

It's hard to believe but it may turn out to be true.

Apparently both 'Phir Hera Pheri' and 'Chup Chup Ke' have been slated for the release on the same day - June 9. So one may ask, what's so special about it? After all it's a norm to have at least two movies releasing every Friday!

Well, the scoop here is that while 'Chup Chup Ke' is a comedy directed by Priyadarshan, 'Phir Hera Pheri' too is a comedy for which its Part I, i.e. 'Hera Pheri', was directed by Priyadarshan himself. Though it's a different matter that the sequel has been directed by Neeraj Vora but the fact remains that the characters and the setting remain alike.

One wonders which one of the two would turn out to be a bigger hit though for the moment it seems unlikely that the two would actually be arriving on the same day!
