Chhotey Sarkar in Taxi No 9211 Remember the fabulous little actor from Shwaas who plays Nana Patekar's son in Taxi No 9211? The boy Ashwin is such a pro that Milan Luthria was completely bowled over by him.
Luthria claims that he didn't need to be told what to do. The eight-year-old just stood by and watched what was happening and took his cue from that and performed on the dot!
Except once when he got tired of waiting to be called and just disappeared without telling anyone. And then didn't appear for a week.
A production man had to be sent to Pune to bring him back and on his return the only explanation he gave was "Nothing's the matter. I had to go to school!" A star in the making, if ever there was one!!! Pooja's baby
A couple of days back we got calls from not one but two different people who claimed that Pooja Bhatt was expecting a visit from the stork.
Curious by nature, we decided to check with the sassy producer- director if she had some good news to give us. In her true witty style, Pooja said, "Every year you guys come up with the same question. Amusing... the names of the journalists change, but the question remains the same."
A friend of the actress says, "Blame Pooja for the rumour, she refers to her films as her baby, and someone must've overhead that and jumped ot the conclusion that she was expecting." We blame the flowing kurtas that Bhatt has been sporting.
Kalpana's furious
Kalpana Lajmi is furious over Aadesh Shrivastava's claims of not being paid for Chingaari. Says Lajmi, "Aadesh was given a package deal of 10,00,000 which included his fees, Sameer's (the lyricist) fees, and payments to be made to various musicians, singers and studio hire.
Over and above, we spent extra 40,000 for background music for the hire of Ashok Honda Studios chosen by Aadesh, which he chose not to pay, forcing us to do so.
There are some payments made to Sunny Super Sound made by us directly as well. Aadesh, on the contrary, failed to deliver the four songs with background music within the stipulated 10,00,000. Telling people that he and Sameer worked free is defamatory.
Our company Perfect Magic can take legal action against him. It is my goodness that I am letting him go scot-free." She's almost as angry as Sushmita in Chingaari's climax. Yes Boss has a new boss! | Romanchak, Sharad Vyas and Kavita Kapoor in Yes Boss | The SAB channel's weekly sitcom, Yes Boss, has a new entry.
Romanchak has entered the show as Goldie, the new boss. He relocates to India from the US to share the responsibility of running his father's office.
The show revolves around a couple Meera (Kavita Kapoor) and Mohan (Rakesh Bedi) who work in the same office where the husband is junior to his wife. Their much-married boss Vinod Varma (Asif Sheikh) is infatuated with Meera and consistently tries to seduce her.
This leads to a series of humorous escapades. With the new man at the helm, Goldie too vying for Meera's affections, Varma now feels the heat in his relationship.
"Getting Yes Boss reinvented will provide an element of freshness besides the new sets will give the show a better look," says Priya Mishra, programming head, SAB. Looks like the boss just got more funnier! |
