| Vikram Singh, a front page model from New Delhi made his debut last year in the smalltime flick Mumbai Godfather. The actor now claims to be more conscious about choosing proper banners and strikes back with Karan Razdan's Souten where he romances two females - Mahima Chaudhary and Kiran Rathod. IndiaFM spoke to the actor who has faint resemblance to the Shahrukh Khan of the early days in terms of his mannerisms. What is Souten all about? The name itself suggests that it's a story of two ladies. Souten is a story of two women and how they fall in love with the same person and becomes Souten to each other. Tell us about your role in the movie It's a love story of two ladies; unfortunately they are showed as mother and daughter. Like all the stories there should be a man between the two ladies and I am playing that man. How was it working with Mahima and Kiran? It was very comfortable. We were very friendly on the sets because we developed a friendly atmosphere before the shooting. So I didn't face any difficulties working with them. In fact I enjoyed working with both of them. Padmini Kolhapure is making her comeback with this movie what do you think about that? Padminiji is a great actress. She is playing my bhabhi in this movie. She is a wonderful human being. In fact she is the real flavor of Souten (laughs). She helped me out a lot. Tell us something about your co star Kiran Kiran is a nice girl, very friendly and lovable. She is a wonderful actress to work with, very co-operative and fun loving girl. It was a wonderful working experience. What's your take on music? Music of Souten is by Anand Milind. There are four songs in the film. There is one melodious song and one hot number between me and Mahima. I think all the songs are situational while my favorite is the title song Souten which is wonderfully picturized. How was it shooting in Rajasthan? It was wonderful shooting in Rajasthan. It gives the feeling of a king. It's a city of beautiful palaces. I was shooting like a king. It was a nice experience I like the city a lot. What is your expectation from the movie? It should be a super hit film. |
