Oh please what was she doing in Kurbaan??and in Ahoska and in omkara..and in Kambakt ishq...Just because you put aesthetically does not mean its NOT a skin show..Weather u show in classical dance or in a club dance what you show is the same...

lol look at what I said on my previous post...I said Kareena did it in Kurbaan and it backfired. I never said kareena doesn't do these kind of scenes. Am saying she doesn't need to do it for Heroine.(just because Vidya is doing in TDP)..or maybe she does...if the director wants to show that actress sleep around to get to the top...if that's part of the plot...I guess she has to do it. But yeah I don't like that she said No to it in the beg and now seeing success of TDP she wants to do it. But whatever it's not a big deal...it's all business!

I haven't watched the movie. But a lot of memeber reviews from filmifantics said Vidya was OTT with her sex scenes/vulgarity that they had to leave the cinema.

First it was item numbers and now because of TDP this skin show and what not. When it would be just based on performance?

And where did i say pushing the envelope means more vulgarity or it is abt outdoing each other... 😆

Below in italics is what i said few pages back... And what i meant was Vidya has set the standards high on how an actress gets into her character and at the same time make the film work critically as well as commercially... That doesnt happen every friday... I am not saying that its impossible for anyone to do that...Hard to beat that but nothing's impossible... Records are meant to be broken and i am sure someone will come along who will stay true to that character she is playing and at the same time make it a critically as well as a commercially successful movie... It could be a po*n character or a some other charcter... Its natural that the next person who comes in has to work harder, go an extra step and make the character hatke and that is what i meant by pushing the envelope..

[Vidya has set the standards really high for an actress and the next one will have to work more harder by pushing the envelope further...]

Just to clarify, as strange as it sounds, Bebo and Saif never said no to INTIMATE scenes, but specifically kissing.

I dont know how that works, but they have said that they're ok with lovemaking scenes (because its like a choroeography and how the camera captures your movements according to Saif), but kissing they're not comfortable with.

I dont know. It might not be professional, its even strange, but hey, its what makes them comfortable in their relatoinship so their choice.

As for Bhandarkar, I wanna hope that its the Bhandarkar of Chandni Bar who will be directing Heroine, and not Fashion. I LOVED Chandni Bar. So hardhitting, minimalistic on stereotypes, and gripping storyline.

The no kissing but okay with lovemaking makes complete sense to me, especially in the Indian context.

Omkara - love making scene no kissing.

Fida - love making no kissing

I'm sure there are more. Omkara is a great example on how to such scenes without kissing.

As for Kareena's hunger for hits, she had been deprived of hits for so long, that now she's clamouring for em when she can.

I cant find the video, but I still recall the clip of Kareena at some event post Omkara, but before Jab We Met, where a reporter went up to her and asked her to her face, "Its being predicted that your career is finished, what are your comments?"

And she just stood there, smiled, and said, just wait and watch.

Now that she's enjoyed the hit tag, I hope she can bring back the performance oriented tag as well

Love making scenes are not hard to do because I think you don't have to be nude or anything. It's just camera angle and all that stuff and some rolling around which they already do! They don't do explicit love making scenes in BW!

Kissing is more intimate...because you exchange saliva...yuck! 😆

You roll around and then just snuggle the neck in most of these scenes in bollywood 😆

As for kissing, I dont blame Bebo if she sees red coz Saifu gets quite intense when he kisses ☺️
