Akshaye Khanna's comic timing is remarkab

Akshaye Khanna's forte for comedy was amply evident in Priyadarshan's HULCHUL and HUNGAMA but his comic timing has won him a new admirer in writer, Sanjay Chhel, who has written the dialogues of the Akshaye starrer, SHAADI SE PEHLE. "He's got an amazing feel for comedy and delivers the lines perfectly without making it look like buffoonery," says Chhel, who admits to being absolutely thrilled with Akshaye's mannerisms in the film.

In the film, Akshaye plays the hilarious character of a city-based young man who undergoes a lot of psychological stress due to the situations he lands himself in. There's also Mallika Sherawat, with all her oomph and sex appeal, besides Sunil Shetty and Ayesha Takia. "It is a laugh riot with lots of entertainment," Chhel adds.

He is particularly happy about the experience of working with director Satish Kaushik once again after he had last worked with him in MALINI IYER and the television countdown, PHILIPS TOP TEN. "We hit it off from the very first day. He understands punch lines very well and has a natural feel for comedy," Chhel reveals.
