Hi happy to see ya, but I disagree. Akshay Kumar in desi boyz proved he was the USP in the movie. Agree its not solo movie as John was there. But according to critics and Audience he was sole reason most went to see it.

But ya his Khaldi series, then singh is king, Namaste London, etc were his movies. In Most movies he is the one the movies rest in so would not say Used to hes still got once upon a time in mumbai, etc..Plus his movies despite their tag get great openings.

On Ranbir, yes rockstar was and yes I guess Id agree to some extent. But hit wise other than rockstar, he really hasn't. (but topic I guess is not on BO)

He as been critically appreciated, in the movies though.

Ajay on the other hand I d say yes. Singham being the latest.

I d even given Emraan credit on having able to open a solo movie ..example Murder 2

I totally disagree, (I like Salman-Katrina as a jodi) But, Salman does not need Katrina to have a big opening his dabanng and Ready opened well without her. Bodyguard would have been huge without her 20 sec to 1 min apperance. Others may need her but the Debanng, Ready, Bodyguard does not.

Add Akshay too to that list...Today there is more chance of a hit Katrina film compared to an Akshay film...😆

I still will strongly say that Salman does not need Katrina to have a Blockbuster or great opening.

Also, Akshay had a good opning without Katrina. The movie status don't know yet.

Ajay, Akki and HR.

I have to say I don't think Katrina has the star power to have people go and watch a movie even if it is terrible, I think Kareena has that power more... I mean I really don't see Katrina being offered roles like Fashion having a whole script based around her, she has always had a strong male co-star with her be it Akki, Sallu or well in some sense Ranbir.

Cause this way Kareena with Heroine is going to do fabulous at the BO. Katrina can only gain her star power by doing a film where only her name is the main name in the project, I mean with MBKD fine she can be the main reason for the movie being a hit but I am sure just as many people went to watch the film for Imran cause that's why I went and don't get me wrong but I have loved a lot of Katrina films and have enjoyed watching them but I have never watched them for her which is the truth. I think Kareena and PC have more Star Power than Katrina overall but I don't think it is the actresses that can make BO registers flow with money though PC and Kareena and Katrina have managed it, it is not on their names alone.

Hrithik I think with Agneepath and Krish2 is going to have a major 2012 and with ZNMD bringing him back to the level he was at in 2006 with Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar we shall see him bringing in a lot of fans back into cinemas.

Ajay Devgan has proved himself and Singham was a major BO hit on his name alone and for that all credit to him and with Golmaal 4 on the way you just know he has enough to make the BO registers ching with money!

Imran and Ranbir are both going to get there but just not yet. Imran will get there as soon as he gets a script matching DDLJ... He has created that niche for himself in the industry he has become the boy next door and the romantic hero... Though he is really under estimated he was amazing in Delhi Belly! (Though I wonder doesn't Imran count as a Khan 😆)... Plus I just think Imran is starting his journey the same way all the Khan's did with a romantic unforgettable hit, with JTYJN but his scope has hit some high's and low's but he will find the right medium and it will boost him forward.

Ranbir is doing some fabulous roles and he has some new movies on their way, these will determine the strenght of his star power.

But with all the Khan's Aamir is the only one I want to go and watch and the day Aamir puts out a bad film I will actually be in tears because he is the only one that doesn't think his audience are idiots and are going to go and watch the movie because his name is linked to it, he puts the same amount of effort and care into all his movies and I can't wait for Dhaun with Rani and Kareena... So excited to see Rani and Aamir again!
