Oberoi seems to have finally come to terms with his break-up with Aishwarya Rai. After neglecting his health and general wellbeing for months now, the actor is now concentrating on improving his look and toning his physique.
"Vivek had one of the fittest bodies in this industry when he was launched by Ram Gopal Varma in Company," says his personal trainer Satyajit Chaurasia. "Later, he was disturbed with happenings in his personal life and didn't pay much attention to his health. When he came to my gym after the Pyare Mohan schedule, his weight was 87 kgs. Now, he has lost nearly 12 kgs," says Satyajit.
Vivek makes it a point to come to the gym every day and follow all instructions. "I have advised him to avoid carbohydrates post-sunset, and to have fruit juices and other liquid energisers in plenty," he continues.
Vivek spends nearly two hours in Satyajit's gym every day, doing cardio-vascular exercises, stomach crunches and weight-lifting.
Did Satyajait notice any change in Vivek's behavior after his split with Ash? "Yes, he seems depressed," he replies. "But he isn't going to behave like Devdas for long. In fact, he's already getting out of it by takes out his anger and frustration on the dumbbells. Ash ka sara gussa woh mere gym mein aake weights pe nikaalta hai. I am happy, because finally he is motivated to return to shape."
Satyajit has been training Vivek for four years and have never seen him in such an aggressive bent of mind. "He hardly talks about Ash and never badmouths her. In fact, he walks out of the room if we ever discuss Ash," he adds.
So will Vivek take off his shirt, a la Salman Khan style? "Why not? I am training him and if he wants he can also go bare-chested in his films like Salman Khan. His bone structure is good and now he has shaved his chest to give it a clear definition."
