Kalpana Lajmi to make a comedy

It sounds like a joke but yes Kalpana Lajmi whose film Chingari hit the cinemas yesterday is all set to make two more flicks.

The comic part of the story is that one of those films is a comedy. The intense scenes in Chingari are more humorous than the so-called humorous ones. So what does one expect when she is making a comedy. She is planning to cast Amisha Patel in the film. One thing that does not seem to change is the fact that the hero of her film is perennially a woman. The film is about this girl who is longing for her Mr. Right. The film is titled Kab Ayega Mr. Right.

The film revolves around tarot card reading, palmistry etc. the other film is rather intense. This is about Devdasis. The film will probably star Rekha and Priyanka Chopra. The film will revolve around this tradition of marrying young girls to gods and their exploitation. Both the films are being scripted by Patrick Biswas and Lajmi. Lajmi will first take a break from all the pressure that she has been handling for the past so many months now. Lets hope that the films will serve the messages that they should ideally give.
