He has beaten the dominance of Bollywood's Khans. He also has enjoyed a mammoth success last year winning the audiences' hearts with movies like 'Khakee', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', 'Aitraaz', 'Waqt', 'Garam Masala', 'Deewane Huye Paagal' and 'Dosti'. He is none other than Akshay Kumar - the brawny man of Bollywood.
Akshay is going through a fabulous phase currently and this certainly makes this exceptionally talented actor happier. He has also broken into the overseas market and is the highest earning hero for the producers. The sector that was reserved earlier only for Khans is now laid for Akki.
It was his comic prowess that shoved him to heights. The actor provided joy to the audiences when he delivered a humorous performance at the recently held Star Screen Awards. Rumors of undercutting his co-stars have persistently dodged Akshay to belittle his success. And more recently Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham had been at the receiving end of Akki's 'Editing' skills.
Akshay sportingly accepted a special award for the 'Best Editor' in the midst of his performance at the award ceremony. Infact Akshay himself in tandem with Sajid Khan planned the impromptu skit. Mockingly he even wrote the acceptance speech "I just accepted this award for the fun of it. This is a 'special' award and a tribute to my editing skills and is dedicated to all those heroes who have suffered at the editing table because of my special skills." His exceptionally heart-hitting performance at the awards' function depicts how brilliant he is. He knows the art of making the people laugh by cracking jokes at himself. Keep up the good work Akshay. The world loves you a lot and wants you to succeed even more in all the years to come.
