He is an okay actor. Certainly not the worst but not spectacular either. I think he turns in a good performance only when he's genuinely interested. Most of the time he doesn't seem to be much interested in this business other than being stuck with the responsibility of the Bachchan name. Oh well, hang in there man. Just 14-15 years more and Beti B will take over while you retire in peace.

He can only do Dostana types of roles because he doesn't have to act. It comes naturally😛

I like him in Sarkar..you cant say he is a bad actor, specially in GURU.

But he is hell lazy, did so crappy work in Raavan. In front of Vikram it's evident.

Yes...Abhi is not bankable as a solo hero. He keeps getting multi-starrers where even people like Tushar Kapoor keep getting work. Abhi is atleast better looking than Tushar. Being associated with Big B and Ash keeps Abhi in the news and in turn keeps him in circulation. For media personalities that is important.

Actually he was good in couple of movies like Guru, Bluffmaster. But he lacks the charm. IMO inorder to do well in Bollywood, a person should have either stunning looks or extraordinary acting talent. And Abhishek has none of the two. He only has a star father and a star wife.

No he cannot act he doesn't seem to put the effort. Ok this generation ranbir and prateik when they are offered a role they put there heart and soul into the character. Salman and shah rukh have star power and when they do take there work seriously you get films like veer zaara and tere name. Abhishek show no interest like for example in players the romantic song with sonam it was such a nice song but he Luis like he didn't wana touch her. He worked well with rani on screen was amazing but his wife had a problem so he stopped I think work and home shud be seperate he is his wifes pet dog wife says jump he says how high he needs to make his own identity and he stopped being friendly with most of the actors

What makes a successful Bollywood Hero?

Good Looks
Good acting
Charisma
Good dancing skills
Screen Presence
Luck

You can get away with not having a couple of these. AD(no looks or dance but acting and screen presence) or Salman ( no acting but looks and screen presence)

But AB JR has none of these. Like literally 0. And he expects the audience to accept him.

He does have some great PR connections though. The whole Bachchan family does actually, how they manage to stay in the news without a single outright hit in over 3 years is beyond me.
