What was so special about 3 IDIOTS?!

😆 I have made topics like this before on movies like Hum Tum, Jab We Met, My Name is Khan, Veer Zaara, etc. But, now I want to ask the question to all of you, what was so SPECIAL about 3 IDIOTS? Do you think this movie was overrated and deserved all the attention it received? Sure, we all love Aamir Khan movies. But, I think this movie was not as stellar as his other roles. It was not a typical masala movie. Don't get me wrong, the movie was executed well and Rajkumar Hirani is a good director. We have seen to many movies with the college theme. In a way, it has been overdone. And Kareena Kapoor's role in the movie was not even that great either, but people think she left a mark. Anyway, please share your thoughts. What was so special about 3 IDIOTS?! 😉

i just watched one scene and left the room ...but my sis cont watchin just becz her frnd askd her to watch and she still cry for that day she even dnt want to remb and talk abt it 😆 ...i feel I'm so lucky 😛...😳

but no, in all seriousness, everything Maddy said. However, I definitely have not watched that movie more than once. Liked it the first time, but am not sure I would like it if I watched it repeatedly. :)
