Woah if someone can get hold of Sajid nadiadwala's email or contact info we can mail him this thread and he wouldnt have to worry much as far as the casting is concerned...😆

Personally, this is my fav CB book...so I really hope whoever is involved in this project, executes it well on celluloid...ahhh Krish and Ananya...!

Asin, though a very mediocre actress, would be picture perfect as Ananya! Deepika, for some reason, won't suit the role as much! Though she looks every inch a South Indian just like Asin!

PS : Boman in the role of Ananya's father would be a hoot and Kiran Kher as Krish's mother!😆

PPS: One of the funniest scene in the book (and there are loads) is the one where Krish visits Ananya at her home and wonders if he is supposed to eat the Plaintain Leaf on which food is served to him!😆 Also, I absolutely loved his interation with Ananya's father...

CB is obviously no Vikram Seth or Salman Rushdie, but he has his own style of writing which is very charming and makes for an enjoyable read!

Word... Thats exactly what i felt when i read the book...

This role is just tailor made for RK... And for some reason i kept imagining DP in Ananya's role... I guess the BAH hangover 😆... They did look good in one of the songs...

Frankly as long as RK is Krish I dont care who they pick as the actress opposite him... Hopefully they make the right decision again... This book has so much potential as a good movie... Kjo, just dont screw it up...

@Maddy, Tamannah does resemble Anusha quite a bit! I loved Tamannah in that remake of JWM! She is so pretty to look at!

The book has some amazingly funny lines and moments! The Harish scene was ROFL!😆 I could actually imagine CB sitting there in the middle of a dozen Tam Brahm's, looking clueless and making noise while eating the Muruku!😆 When you read the book, the honesty and frankness with which he has written it comes across so clearly and that is why it is immensely readable!

I also liked Krish's interaction with his colleagues when he joins Citibank and one of his subordinates asks his permission before going to the toilet!😆

Also his remark that 'girls in IIM would probably not bother with superficial things like waxing off body hair...'😆

I can bet CB's inlaws would have stopped talking to him after reading this book!😆

PS: It would be howlarious to see Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir and Deepika in that Hotel scene...Deja Vu!😆 Neetu Kapoor would be spot-on for the role of Mrs. Malhotra. She did a great job playing the middle-class Punjabi Housewife in Do Dooni Chaar!

the book has potential to become a really good rom com...the kind i like...set in india, people not wearing high fashion stuff, people who have other priorities and problems apart from heartbreak, good humor etc...

I always imagined RK as kkrish too...hes just perfect for the role...tailor made as they say it...

now tht i think of it...I want nitya menon as ananya...shed be the perfect balance of the spunk and vulnerability needed for ananya..
