Looking at the title in English, you're almost reminded of 9/11. But don't fear, this slick film has nothing to do with terrorism -- or so, at least, we're led to believe.
Instead, Taxi needs to be read out in Hindi, where the numbers nau-do-gyarah are slang for conning people and disappearing into thin air.But who's the one on the run?

The film is about John, who needs to prove in court that he is the right heir to his father's property worth Rs 300 crore.
Nana Patekar is the taxi driver in the film, who needs money to pay off his loans. Nana has changed 23 jobs in the last 15 years, and done everything he could to support his family. A chance encounter brings John and Nana together. The two can't see eye to eye on anything, but still have to stand together because of a bizarre situation they find themselves in.
The sizzling Sameera Reddy is all set to tango with John, whereas Nana will be seen with Sonali Kulkarni, who plays a traditional Maharashtrian woman.
Despite making a splash with her role opposite Saif in Dil Chahta Hai, Sonali has been an actress largely overlooked by Bollywood, and one hopes that this film turns things around for her.
Similarly, Sameera has not made a dent in the industry yet. Her last film, Buddhadeb Dasgupta's Bengali feature Kaalpurush, won her a lot of accolades. Lets see if Taxi brings in the all-important moolah.
The film is coming at a time when both John and Nana's careers are at an all time high.
John has never looked back after tasting success with Dhoom, and 2005 saw him add hits like Kaal and Garam Masala to his list.
Nana resurrected two years ago with Ab Tak Chappan. Just last month, Nana won praise for Bluffmaster and the political drama, Apaharan.
Taxi 9 2 11 has been directed by Milan Luthria. While Luthria showed promise with his first film, Kachche Dhaage, he has since squandered it with disasters like Chori Chori and Deewar: Lets Bring The Heroes Home.
The film is a Ramesh Sippy production. A filmmaker with blockbusters like Sholay and Shaan to his credit, Sippy has since taken a backseat in terms of direction, and ventured into production.
Taxi 9211 releases on February 24.
