It is common knowledge that during the making of Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Aaditya became 'friendly' with his discovery, Tanushri. Even after the release of the film, they made their appearances together at several parties and premieres. When we first heard about the split, we put it down to a lover's tiffs. But it now looks like it's final. Chapter closed
When contacted, the otherwise chirpy Tanushri was reticent. After a deep breath, she dropped the bomb, "Yes, we are no longer in touch. It's a closed chapter. But, I do not wish to elaborate on the touchy issue," said the Chocolate girl.
Dutta: I'm not calculating
Did it have anything to do with the fact that she was not repeated in Dutt's next movie? "For heaven's sake, I am not such a calculating person. My friendship with any person is based on sentimental emotions and not for career-climbing. They needed a fresh face for the next project and I knew about it, well in advance."

Upala KBR According to an insider, the real reason why Tanushri and Aaditya broke up was because she found out he was having an affair with another girl and confronted him about it. When contacted about this 'affair', both Aaditya and Tanushree denied it and maintained a "no comments" stance.
But a friend of Tanushree, who didn't wish to be named clarified, "They decided to go their separate ways. There were reasons why they broke up, but Tanu doesn't want to disclose them as she doesn't like washing dirty linen in public." She was jealous
Meanwhile Aaditya's friend gave us the real dope, "It happened at the lounge-bar 11 Echoes two days ago.
Aaditya and Tanu had gone with friends (Riya and Raima Sen) and were chilling out when some girls walked in. The friends started teasing Aaditya about one girl in the group who he was flirting with, and this irked Tanu.
Aaditya has given a lot of freedom in their relationship and never questioned her about anybody. In return he expects some space from her. She should've understood that he was just indulging in some harmless fun.
After a few drinks, they were planning to head to Aaditya's home but Tanu got upset and refused to go. Aaditya is a very private person and didn't want her to express her feelings in public, so he blew up and walked out after telling her that he wouldn't be dropping her home." He dumped her
What happened after that? "Tanu tried calling and messaging him many times after that but he refuses to take her calls. Aaditya is a very self-respecting guy and he doesn't want to take crap from anybody.
He doesn't want to be known as an actress's boyfriend who takes her tantrums lying down just because she is a celebrity. Since he was indulging in harmless flirtation, he felt he hadn't done anything wrong, so he dumped her."
Isn't there any chance of them getting back together? "No it's final. Tanu is concentrating on her films, endorsements and shows while Aaditya is busy with his next film Dil Diyaa Hai."
