okey folks lets be serious there are very view actors who actually can act in india cinema all those so called superstars cant act dont get me wrong there are alot of good actors some even great actors like amitji,kamal hassan,naserudin shah anumapan kher, shahrukh khan (before the chopras and johars ) tabu, shabana azmi, konkona sen, manisha koirala, of the 90s and and view others. the rest are there because of family connection of because of their looks and priyanka is one of the many.exeption for (kaminey) .

you can call them superstar or what ever u want but the cant act.

so let them call superstars

and the real actors the actors

I also despise narcissism in Bollywood, but you can't just throw away the all that these family-connection/beauty queens have done because of this label

Kareena, PC, Aish (who I'm not fond of onscreen), Hrithik, Abhay, Ranbir etc. have at least tried to do a multitude of roles to prove their acting chops...that's why they're on top as compared with other good looking people like Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Celina Jaitley, Diya Mirza, Sameera Reddy etc. who also entered the industry for the very same reason. I also think Konkona Sen Sharma is in Bollywood through her family connection too

They are superstars, but they've also shown that they can indeed act...but yeah this industry is messed up in that those with the connections have a better chance at making it big

Answer: Yes she can act, definitely. She's proved herself in a lot of movies. She challenges herself and experiments...i like that a lot about her.

there are some actresses in this industry who i find intolerable on screen, so, i tend to avoid watching their movies altogether (kareena was one of them, remember; yaadein, k3g, mpkdh, khushi etc) PC's real life personality grates on me, she's a wannabe there's no denying that, but her movies; i do find tolerable. She's not exceptional she's great in some movies but mediocre at best in others. I recently watched WYR and although the movie does tend to drag on a fair bit, and the plot isnt all that great, i do think Priyanka was great in it .. her ability to portay 12 different characters in one film, was commendable and i think its great that she chooses to experiment with the projects she picks and atleast attempts to move out of her comfort zone and try something new. Most of the times i feel i do connect with her onscreen character. But that depends on the movie too. Her real life persona on the other hand ...
