Delhi belly was so unique in its own way. It was not at all like those dragged-up comedies which are released every now nd then. Nd ofcourse, its songs were just too amazing 😆

hello.. imran khan's movies for the majority have opened as strong if not better than ranbir's films (other than raajneeti ofcourse... but that movies was a huge mutlistarrer)!

yes acting is more objective and many would give ranbir the clear edge here... rightly so! biru is clearly the better actor cuz he strived for it since childhoor and it clearly shows.. but i have always said ranbir is so overrated as a STAR, his only 2 commercial solid hits had a KAT factor. watch imran with the same KAT factor give a much bigger opening than ranbir ever did in his life! but who will you credit then? ALI ZAFAR?

ranbir gets much more media promotion than any other gen-x.. if aamir truly decided to put his weight down and promote imran thru PR.. u would see a whole new ball game! give the man some credit!

i think aamir should give you a refund for delhi belly not living upto the standards set by our umrao jaan movies! 😭

@beboholic - Lensa I have to agree with you on that I do find Ranbir a little overrated 🤔

But yes...Ranbir is a much better actor than Imran and yeah very versatile but I know Imran will improve so no Imran hasn't yet sailed past Ranbir. Good luck to both of them! 👍🏼

i like imran more because he has got raw talent n ranbir looks very over confident.As far as being a star is concerned maybe ranbir has a edge because he can dance well and has more screen presence.

Delhi Belly wasn't really great in my opinion, I only liked him in his first movie JTYJN.

Thanks on topic. Yes, I think Imran will ,plus hes got mammu Aamir to guide him and mentor Salman to help him and others👏 In delhi belly you can tell he acted his heart out. In his 1st movie he was cute and his other movies he plays on the cuteness, he just needs to get good scripts, which he is getting now. I think he was never to serious in the start but now you can tell he is and delhi belly was the starting point.😊👏

I wont say Imran Khan has sailed past Ranbir Kapoor is definitely overrated and Imran is not even rated !!😛

Delhi belly was a fantastic entertainer n Imran profermance was noticable !!😛

Ranbir is still a bit ahead of him I think he has more fans n charisma which Imran will snatch soon !!😛

I also think Imran isn't as versatile as Ranbir BUT I think he has the potential to be. He is a good actor AND he's got the box office hits as well.
Not every Amir Khan productions makes money. Dhobi Ghaat was a hugely publicized Amir khan movie which Amir Khan acted in, PLUS had Pratiek Babbar who was an up-and-coming huge star, but it wasn't a hit. So, Amir doesn't guarantee a good opening. A good movie and good performances does, which Delhi Belly was.
Also, Rajneeti had every possible performing actor on the movie, it had good promotions surrounding Kat-Ranbir, and overall it was a good movie. But mostly all credit went to Ranbir even though it was an ensemble. There are always plus factors in both of these actors movies. But if it was Imran's movie, people claim its always those factors that made the movie a hit, never Imran. But if its Ranbir's, wait-a-minute he's talented yo.
Personally I prefer Imran, because there's so much he can do, he's got so much potential and he will deliver great movies. And of course Ranbir is a great actor and he's ahead of Imran in that department. But I think Imran can do that too, without too much publicity around his romantic life, imo with grace.
