Ranbir and imran are pretty much on the same level box office wise...ranbir has had WUS, Rajneeti, APKGK for successes, and imraan has had JTYJN, IHLS and Delhi belly...

delhi belly was friggin EPIC...such a refreshing change from all the other pakao "comedies" we have floating around which are more like dimag-in-blender exercises...

WUS was also a Dharma Production, another production house which has a good reputation.

I actually loved Delhi Belly. After a LONG time I saw a good comedy that wasn't mindless like all the other ones that have been shoved down our throats for the last few years.

Well Imtan is going to get a hit in a non-Aamir Khan produced film in the form of MBKD. A solid hit too which I'm sure won't be as crappy as IHLS.

It's produced by YRF and Kat is also going to be a part of the success but the point is, he is going to get a hit from a film that Aamir hasn't produced, lol. And I'm sure Imran will give many more hits in the future also that hasn't been produced by him. It's too early to say that he only gives hits in an Aamir Khan film.

I loved Delhi Belly.

I would agree with the common opinion Ranbir and Imran are at same level as far as BO record is concerned 😊..But BO record isnt everything cuz then actresses like Aish,Bebo and actors like Saifu,Hrithik wouldnt be anywhere to be seen..They are considered good actors/actresses inspite of their undeniable lists of flops for the reason that they actually gave an impressive perfomance even in their flops..If BO record is the only thing that matters why dont ppl in this forum agree that Kat is one of greatest actress ever in the history of BW?

I disagree with the statement,the craze abt Ranbir and Imran is at same level! Ranbir is listed as the most promising newcomer by the industry(kwk) ,always rated just below the 6 top stars in all surveys,magazine polls etc..As well as some ppl would love to believe its all cuz he is a Kapoor and Rishi is bribing them 😆,its NOT a fact 😛..Imran is no less ..He is a khan supported in each step by his dear mamu..also his mr clean image..married his childhood sweetheart hence no affairs (dnt tell its nt a factor cuz even biggest superstar SRK has milked on his family guy image)..unlike Ranbir the bad boy who is known for his philandering ways 😆..even after all this if Ranbir is ahead of Immu in both STAR power and popularity,,he must be doing something right 😛

Ranbir is immensely talented and so effortless and engaging on screen..Till date there hasnt been a bad perfomance from him..Ok so he is overrated?..A guy who gave a perfomance like Rocket singh within the 2 yrs of his career is overrated ok 😳!..Then what about the so called superstar Shahid K whose sole claim and testimony to good acting are his 2-3 romcoms (ofcourse expect Kaminey)..so if he is considered future of bolly why not Ranbir? He still has a lot to prove ,never claimed he is the NO1 actor ever,then dont understand why he is overrated?.

I really wanted to like Imran in IHLS cuz i like him offscreen and found him genuine, cute..But i just couldnt finish the whole movie cuz of the hamming by both actors..Imran is good in his typical good intelligent serious mama's boy kind of roles..But not up to mark when he is out of his comfort zone-eg:when playing casanova kind of roles..Imran couldnt wow his critics with his solo superhit IHLS ..Ranbir did it in WUS..both were dharma prodns..So there is some truth when ppl say Immu only excels under his mamu's supervison..Ofcourse he will /can improve with time but for now he is nowhere near to Ranbir as far as screen presence and acting is concerned

Personally i can imagine Biru in a Delhi belly but not imran in a raajneeti or rockstar(at this stage)..Future is up for the grabs..Ranbir/Ranvir are spontaneous and energetic on screen diff from immu/sasha's scool of acting..each actor will find their own kind of audience

LMFAO @ the ridiculous argument Ranbir went underground after being shocked by DB's success 🤣..Sonam rarely has consecutive releases so is it because each time she gets a nervewreck following the success of BBB or Dabaang 🤣..If ppl believe anything the media writes,then there were also articles stating Ranbir went underground cuz he is suffering from depression cuz of stress from Rockstar/also cuz he is not keeping well after his accident on sets of barfee! 😃

I think in terms of BO success both are at the same level. So its too early to say who is more successful. But IK needs Aamir's marketing acumen to support him. Ranbir doesnt have that advantage. So I would say Ranbir is one step ahead of IK. Btw IH8LS was a superhit? 😲

@IHEARTDEEPIKA:wow i really appreciate the way you present ur views in an objective way though you are an Imran fan..Atleast you are not prejudiced against Ranbir (due to rk-dp fiasco) when it comes to stating the facts about Biru as an actor😛

BO wise, IK nd Ranbir both stand together. I loved Ranbir in WUS nd Rajneeti, nd i equally loved IK in Jtyjn, IHLS nd DB! Both are my favorite actors from the youth!

However, if i had to choose one, its IK all the way for me. I do agree that IK lacks the versatility which Ranbir has, but IMO its too early for us to judge them on their versatility. After all, its only been 3-4 years since these two extremely talented hunks have entered Bollywood.

But the reason for my extra likeness towards IK is since Jtyjn. I dont wanna get into that, bcoz i just loveee him 😆 His movies, characters, personality, nature - everything about him makes me like him more ;)
