Why 'Hema Malini' was neglected in BHTP

why hema malini couldn;t even manage to feature in the promos or compaigns...promotions.for movie buddah hoga tera baap..has the dream girl finally lost her importance and succumb to her male counterparts...very sad indeed...

i guess because of theme...theme of fim was cheesy dialogues and amitabh angry old men attitude..if film was abt family drama or romance then may have considered hema role to have proper space in film

i can undersand but she has been a star like AB and she deserves respect...nobody eeven knew ht hema is int the movie until he saw it...wonder why hema malini didnt respond this time...where last time she got mad when she was treated same in BAABUL

I knew she was in the movie. Her song was promoted (Haal-e-dil). She even came out for promotions of the film! She had a much better substantial role than Raveena Tandon or any of the other actresses.

But then it was a male dominated film with everything centered around Big B's character. His journey.
