Filmmaker Karan Johar wants to do a film with actor Hrithik Roshan and is hunting for a leading lady
What filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali couldn't do, his colleague Karan Johar is trying to... SLB's Guzaarish was a box-office dud, but it got it's lead actor, Hrithik Roshan a lot of appreciation for his acting. Now, filmmaker Karan Johar is signing on the actor for his next movie to show the world how an out-and-out commercial film can be made with the talent at hand.
"Karan is signing Hrithik for his next movie. They have already had a couple of meetings and Hrithik is okay with the project. The film will be produced by Karan and directed by somebody from his production house. However, as usual, Karan will be a hands-on producer and will oversee the project at every step," says a source.
Karan and Hrithik have been talking about a project for a long time and finally one seems to be taking shape. Karan and Hrithik have worked together on Kabhi Khushu Kabhi Gham and presently for the Agneepath remake. However, both were ensemble starcasts and Hrithik has never been in a solo hero film with Karan.
"The movie in question will be in total contrast to what Sanjay Leela Bhansali made. It will be an out-and-out commercial movie where there will be plenty of room for Hrithik to show off his dancing skills (as opposed to in Guzaarish, where he was bed ridden for most parts)," the source adds. Karan and Hrithik have had a meeting regarding casting the lady of the film but the casting hasn't begun as of yet. "There will be one more hero and a heroine in the supporting the starcast but the casting is still being worked out. Karan definitely wants to show the world how Hrithik's immense talent should be utilised," says the source.

i dont know if the news is true or not but iam happy that Hrithik now will do masala and commercial films so be ready my friends the golden boy will repeat 2006 mania very soon
