I think one cannot hate him in the movie, because 1. he is very handsome, 2. it is obvious that he loves his wife (Karisma) a lot in the movie, and that it is his huge male ego that is making him do this! 3. he realises his mistake, 4. His wife aka Karisma wants him bak so badly in the movie!

but also when he said i spend 23 hours with my wife so what if im 1hour with rupali..

yeh! he was such a male chauvanist in the movie! but u know what?, many indian men are like that! and still their wives forgive them! I think what I find good in the movie is that Karisma did make him jealous, and Salman did regret his actions in the end, plus the comedy makes the whole script lighter!
