HP releasing the same day is sorta going against ZNMD but no other Hindi movie is releasing that day so they have that as an advantage. But i think both the movies have their own audience and their own appeal so, if the movie is good then releasing the same day won't affect anyone.

I know HP is really popular in hollywood. People line up there at 3 am just to see the movie. o.0

To answer your question, I don't know how popular HP is in India, but from what I heard it was always a hit.

I don't know why, there is just not enough hype around ZNMD. The first trailer was bad. But what got me interested in the movie is the song promos. Still not seeing it in Theater though.

if ZNMD movie gets hit talk, the credit goes to cast & crew of ZNMD. if it gets flop talk, they can blame HP and the other movie. wise move by production house of ZNMD👏

Honestly I thought about this...and I definitely thought it was a bad idea to release it the same weekend as probably THE most anticipated movie of the year. Like it's been said, Hrithik and Kat are popular, but they are no match whatsoever for the popularity of Harry Potter.

I feel like mostly people who aren't fans of HP or people who didn't manage to get tickets for HP would be really watching it in theaters.

The movie hasn't created that big of a buzz.. The trailers are okay as are the songs..nothing spectacular to make me jump and run to the nearest theater. My cousin bro is a big fan of Katrina *figures* and he'd forgotten this movie was releasing next week. There isn't much anticipation for this movie simply put. It'll have to rely on word of mouth. If the movie is good, it'll pick up.

I agree. I have a feeling its gonna flop badly. People just watched Delhi Belly in the theatre and now Harry Potter is releasing. To top it all off, this one is neither a family entertainer nor a raunchy comedy. Who's gonna watch it?

Perhaps. I hope it's a hit for Hrithik. That guy seems so dejected these days. I liked Hrithik-Katrina in the promos. Abhay-Kalki look lost. And Farhan is meh.

Even I feel bad for Hrithik these days. He's one actor for whom I hold no real opinion. But he's badly in need of a solid hit. His career seems to be going nowhere. ZNMD may not be that hit for him, although I could be wrong.
Whenever I catch a promo, the cast just seems out of place to me. First look of the film and it looks bland to me.

I am kind of staring to feel bad for hrithik, ever since I saw that tweet against him. And I am strarting to get a crush on abhay, ever since I saw that video, in which kitrina talked about "poem". Still, kitti is in this movie, I don't want it to be a hit.

Hrithik is a very hard-working and nice guy, so i feel bad for him too, and the second part 🤣 Seriously, u dislike her that much. I like abhay from the start though, impressed me a lot as an actor from socha na tha days. He's the only deol that i like!
