I dont think you know how Bollywood works. Movies are planned to be released in 6 months can easily get delayed up to 2 years. This is unprofessional but that how it is and one Madhur cant change it.

Abt smoking Madhur explained he cant have Ash indulge in passive smoking. I dont think showing getting drunk is an issue. Abt explicit scenes etc I guess the issue is doing such scenes means wearing revealing clothes...and then Ash cant hide her baby bulge. I am sure the character Ash plays isnt pregnant to justify the bulge. Madhur could have even accomodated Ash's pregnancy if her role was not the main lead.

Just because Bollywood doesn't have a clause like that in writing and works mostly on the word of honor, she decides to take advantage of it is it???😕

And she being in the industry for 20+ years should know better how these so called schedules work...There are movies which drag for months if not years...She worked with Mani Ratnam and SLB who are famous for dragging theirs shoots...How did she expect Bhandarkar to be any different???

Pregnancy bump appears only in the 6th month???😲😆...My sister was pregnant twice and both the times her bump appeared by the end of the 3rd month...And the body changes keep happening right from the first trimester...Even in Aishwarya's case we have seen how she became bulgy from her Cannes appearances onwards...

A wrong is a wrong no matter what...She hiding her pregnancy and knowingly signing for such a huge project is CLEARLY wrong and unforgivable...I hope she gets to pay for it...I hope she gets a taste of her own medicine...

I knew there is no point trying to make a 'fan' see the point...Its unfortunate how fans get blinded towards the wrongs their favorites did...She clearly sabotaged not only Bhandarkar's dream project but also the livelihood of the others who are involved with the project...Anyways, I am glad there are more people who recognized the injustice that happened than the ones who are trying to push it under the carpet and most of them seem to be her fans even just like I 'was'...

I still dont get it why did she take up the movie in the first place. Even if she didnt know she was expecting at the time of signing the movie she surely would have known during Cannes period in May. Why did she not back out atleast then? Very unprofessional behavior from a seasoned actress.

I am far more surprised someone else hasnt stepped up to fill the slot of 'Heroine'. Its a Bhandarkar film so will most likely be recieved well by audiences for its darker themes and content, and furthermore woman-centric roles rarely ever come by in Bollywood. Why arn't other actresses trying to nab this role? Why isn't Madhur lobbying for another girl?

Earlier I think most leading actresses would have been ready to take up the role. But now the movie has become too controversal...whoever takes up the role will have to take lifelong panga with the Bachchans.

Maybe Rani should try her luck...her old panga with Ash anyways remains.

^ true, it may be too contraversial to take it, but it would only add hype and publicity to an already scandalous film considering everything that has happened so far.

I'm sure even if its tailor made for aish another actress could do it, unless Madhur went so far as to allude to aish's own real movies and put in easter eggs in the script that would relate to her own climb to the top. I want to see this movie madeee

Whattt was she thinking... Highly unprofessional and not what I had expected out of someone who has been in this industry for so long.

Frankly right now I dont care abt Bhandarkar or UTV... I did sympathise with him intially when this news came out but now his I-me-myself jhaap is turning out stale and melodramatic... Its not like he lost 40 crores or something that he is in shock or depression... 5 crores is no big deal for a big production house like UTV.

What concerns me is the loss of work...loss of wages to the rest of the crew... the side artists...the extras... the production team... the technical crew... These are the ones who are really affected with this unprofessionalism from Ash's side... These are the ones he shld be more concerned abt... I hope they are compensated in some way.

Instead of crying buckets and going on and on Mein lut gaya Mein barbaad ho gaya he shld move on to the next one.

This is a good wake up call for Bollywood and they shld come up with strict clauses and penalties when things like this happen...The ones responsible shld be held liable and they shld be penalised... Accidents happen, shooting dates go hay wire and get extended, script changes happens at the last moment...Things happen...

But having penalties will definitely reduce the chances of last minute surprises to the director as well as to the actors involved.

Regarding the Bachchans, the less said the better... When they are at the recieving end what a hoopla is created... and now when someone else is at the receiving end conveniently no noise from the other end...

One bad review on his son's movie or his movie and Big B writes essays and essays on his blog in a language that can be deciphered with a thesaurus on how he is the victim or his family is the victim and the entire universe is conspiring against them... What abt now Big B... Bolti bandh ho gayi... 😳

Yep, it doesn't show until 6th month. Check out Ash's most recent pictures and she's 5 months into pregnancy but I don't see any 'bump'. May be your sister had a paunch and not a bump.
