I don't understand why that hasn't always been part of the contract.
As an actress fulfilling a certain role, you have certain requirements. For a role like Heroine, of course they need a toned actress who does not have a baby bump... everyone is comparing it to Madhuri doing Devdas... but the two roles have completely different requirements.
Aish screwed up by not telling them, acting completely unprofessional.
Madhur screwed up by not having this clause in his contract.
And the saddest part is, there is more emphasis on Heroine/Aish being thrown out/Madhur losing so much money that it takes away the fact that Aish is entering motherhood, something pure and beautiful.
