Being a science major... the idea of postponing having children is not only a risk for the mother but also the baby. I think having a kid in their early 30s is perfectly fine but after 35, the risk of down syndrome and various other disabilities start to crop up. I am not saying everyone having a child above the age of 35 is going to face issues but it is a very strong possibility...

That being said, I agree that women also need to focus on their careers and make a name for themselves... I want to be a doctor and I will be, but I also want to have kids in my late 20s or early 30s, that doesn't make me not dedicated to my career or going against a trend, its just personal choice.

demi moore had a child at 41 and it was healty. Not every person in late age needs invitro as suggested. I know someone who wanted another child since her kids have grown up at age 45, and the child is normal,

Why does a woman getting pregnant hold everybody and their grandma's interest? It is a private affair between two comitted individuvals. Whenever the parents are ready to raise a child they should have it instead of trying to please society or create/follow a trend.

And really natural or artificial means does it really matter ?

^ agree. Some peple like kids and some don't. Some want to have their own kids, and some people want to live thier life without kids and their responsibilites.

I believe pregnancy is a gift from god which just happens, you can't really plan it although you could to a certain extent, it happens when its time like it did for ash at 38. My aunt was pregnant at 47 and her child is healthy.
