Stop bashing both of them!

I'm saying this even though I'm not a Katrina fan!

The bashing on this forum of both has gone way too far!

I toh side with Katrina because with all of the flak she has received, she has still sustained her position in Bollywood. She has worked hard for her stardom, and judging from records...she's probably only one of the leading ladies after Sri Devi to hold such a dominion over the audience. Oh and on the side, Katrina's raunchy item number was sexyyy. The latter one of Deepika I rather not talk about it because I will need a puke bucket afterward.

Anything Katrina does, anyone she's with, anything she wears, she's made to look like an escort or an outsider or a man eater. The same Deepika does, she's considered to be strong, independent, appealing. If anything else, all I know is that both of these women cannot function without male assistance, so none of the two is any better.

Moral of the story: Had I not been part of this forum, I wouldn't have looked at Katrina the way I look at her now (no sexual innuendo intended.) Will watch Mere Brother Ki Dhulan. 😛

Stop comparing katrina to Deepika and putting katrina on a higher pedestal, because Deepika is her junior. One leading lady after Sri devi? What a joke! She doen't even have one remarkable role. And Stop talking about one item song that she got after 9 years in industry. Deepika has a lot of time to get hit item number, remember she is kat's junior. Kat is so bad in acting that people keep comparing her to new comers. Now people are even comparing her to sonakhshi, hahahaha

Nice topic, Zainab.

I definitely see where you're coming from. I have also seen that Kat bashing/criticism takes place more frequently and at a higher rate than Deepika's.

Here is how I see them:

Sonam > Deepika >/= Katrina.

My opinion on Sonam changed recently after watching Delhi6...but thats another story.

I think the reason ppl rank Deepika higher than Kat, especially in terms of acting, is that they can relate more to her:

- she speaks hindi perfectly (ofcourse for it being her lang.)

- this may even make her dialogue delivery much more acceptable and appreciated by many as "good acting".

- she looks traditional and very desi-girl like.

whereas, Kat has still not learned hindi (whatever the reason maybe), she can't act either but is still so much popular which makes her an easy victim for criticism when ppl don't understand why is she still so popular than any other contemporary actress...

But all of the above are just mere reasons that I came up with...maybe there is more to it. Maybe its just on IF that Kat is "bashed" more...she is still much more popular than Deepika so whatever jee. 😆

In any case, one wooden plank ain't any better than another wooden plank...maybe the quality can differ but at the end of the day they both end up serving their purposes as wooden planks.

Lol almost every.. popular actress get bashed a lot.. does it really matter... who gets bashed more...

they are all succesfull and earning millions.. so why are we getting upset .. about it.. 😕

Both actresses are working hard especially since hindi is not their first language. Deepika's language is Konkani

I agree that Kat is more bashed here presently than Deepika, but people didn't always regard Deepika in the best light either. I am a somewhat Kat fan; I always get excited when I see her in films because I'll be amused by her attempts to be "Indian". Between the two, I've seen Kat's films more since I'm into the Akki stuff that everyone hates😆 And I like Deepika because she's pretty😆

When Deepika first came out in OSO...my god, it was bad here. She had a racier image as a model that people here did not like. She has been called every name in the book. This behavior only stopped when she started toning down in order to be an "actress". Nowadays, I feel Deepika is put on a pedestal here because of her poise? Like on KWK, she looked much more graceful than Sonam did and she doesn't really do any weird facial expressions...she's sorta frozen in that way. Also, she's obviously more Indian than Kat and can speak the language, which can endear her to fans

Kat is definitely slighted in this forum...there is no doubt about that. She is an easy target and its been a fad to slight her (I've done it a number of times...it's pack mentality for sure). She can't speak the language (although that doesn't bother me), her origins are a mystery, she started out as Salman's girlfriend, and she's not an "actress" in the truest sense. And then there aren't really that many fans/members to support her in this forum besides KatForeva and Crystal. So it's easy to bash her since members know that they completely outnumber her supporters. Additionally, the ever belligerent PC Bebo fans unite to their common cause of also bashing Katrina

1)They both are horrible actresses
2) Salman and Kat dated for 5+ years and he was the one who jump-started her career, so people thought that she had to have cheated on him (I've stated many times that I don't think so). As for Ranbir and Deeps, Ranbir's flirting came out in the open which logically made it difficult to think that Deepika would do the cheating...but now it seems to me that the both of them aren't exactly moral when it comes to relationships
3) They both are definitely good to look at
4) I don't think they're messed up in the head...I think they said that as per their PR and to maintain their public images
