Why is Anushka Sharma not pushing herself?

😕 This girl has proved that she has talent and can act! But, she has limited herself to Yash Raj and her only hits have been with them. She tried to do something outside of the Yash Raj Banner with Patiala House, but that film bombed and did not do anything for her. Now, her next film is with Yash Raj again, ! Ladies VS Ricky Bahl sounds lame, I hate to say it. What is Anushka doing? Don't other banners want her? Does she just want to work for Yash Raj? I don't think she is pushing herself enough. Is she lazy and just has a comfort zone with Yash Raj?

I hope she takes advantage of her current success, otherwise she will fade away very quickly. She is so much more talented than the Deepikas, Sonams, and Sonakshis out there. I hope this girl starts realizing her true potential. Are Mani Ratnam, SLB, even Madhur Bhandarkar listening? Come on, cast this girl and make her a offer she can't refuse!

She's had a contract with Yash Raj to do three films....that's why most of her films have been within that camp. And she trusts the Yash Raj team since they launched her and have placed faith in her.....her case isn't like Rani who decided to only do Yash Raj because she wanted to despite having other better offers

Anushka just didn't have as much PR as Sonam or Deeps did when they started out, which is why her career was meh after RNBDJ.....now she seems to have learned "the trade" and directors and the audience are noticing her. She'll be able to branch out once enough offers for her actually come in (and no I didn't mean "that", dirty minds😡😆)

She is pushing hard...very hard!Dissing some actresses..sucking up to others.She showed more cleavage(barring Madhuri) and more leg than any actress on KWK(not that many cared)

Kissing in public and posting it..the media circus with Ranveer..

BUT,No one cares to sign her...

On the other hand I wonder if Sonakshi will have to work double shifts to complete her assignements and advertisements..And work keeps pouring in..

sonakshi is the last person i want to compare with anushka.that chick only gets work of her surname.so she better be dedicated.

these urban/punjabi roles are working well for anushka.she's only 4 films old n once she establishes herself she can take on roles that are different.am not an anushka fan anymore but i dont see the harm in her doin these kinda films.

Madhur and SLB should simply take the backseat. I'd rather not have Anuskha work with such pretentious, wannabee directors anyways. What qualifies as "good" roles? A lead in an art film? A non glamorized role? Working with acclaimed directors? She has shown more than sufficient with three films (Patiala House doesn't count) and those roles have been challenging because they shadowed normal human being characters. To play a conventional, average human being is probably the most complicated character there is to play. She got herself noticed, which itself is a big accomplishment. She didn't play a handicap, or a prostitute, or a leader and what not. She has good head on her shoulders I feel....and I really don't blame her for taking digs at others to stay in the limelight. Bollywood's a weird place. Us as an audience only tend to eye the strange and peculiar. Why else would the Deepus, Sonas, Katrinas and their breed be so popular in Bollywood?...it's cuz audience likes sensationalism and controversy, and these ladies provide it to us on a platter with a bow on top.

Well I dont think that she is lazy!!!
In the coarse of 3 years she had 4 films out of which 3 were successful!!!
Its way better than an actor doing 3 films a year and all of them bombed!!!
And I agree koolchick that its YRF who brought her where she is so if she feels comfortable working with them then its fine!!!
And yeah!!!
