Actor Shiney Ahuja sentenced to 7-year rigorous imprisonment in rape case

MUMBAI: Actor Shiney Ahuja was sentenced to seven years' rigorous imprisonment in a rape caseby a Mumbai sessions court on Wednesday.

Ahuja's teenaged domestic maid had lodged an FIR against the actor alleging that he had raped her while they were alone at the actor's flat.

Shiney Ahuja won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2006.

That's good for his victim since he was trying to pressure her into rescinding her just accusation so that he could get a good public image again

But the girl was a teenager? I always thought she was an adult woman....what a sick man

u know he should be hangged upside down.. and all girls who ever had anger should beat him with cricket bat or baseball bat as hard they could

if only justice was served always, no matter who was concerned, eh... 😛😛

some celebs still get away with murder even... isn't it...

and this is good... he got what he deserved.... just because you are a celeb, shouldn't mean you should be able to buy the law or keep extending your judgement because you're a high profile celeb... if he was a bigger star, he might have gotten away with it, but since he wasn't, at least we get to see some justice done...!

Now I hope no one in Bollywood gives stupid statements like how unfair the justice system is to Celebs or campaigns for his Bail . Hmph !
