How did Vidya Balan get to where she is today? - Page 3

She's just present so that the Indian Film Fraternity can have some credibility while selling out the awards at their fares. She's avein to me....Sometimes I love her, other times I don't really care at all. Her off screen attitude also is not much appealing to me. I have enjoyed whatever little I have seen of Tabu's work, and I am able to relate a lot more to Konkona on screen I feel. She has tremendous screen presence. Vidya is exposed more than the other "serious" and "credible" actors because she has been able to do commercial films over the few years which has let the audience somewhat relate to her....obviously, the hype which surrounds other actors still misses, but she's not the greatest actor we have today. We just tend to take her more seriously over others because....well because we have the perception of her being a "serious" and "able" actor.

I think she is one of the best actresses in terms of actually having acting talent that bollywood has right now. It's her acting that has got her to where she is and she is very pretty too, she just needs to work on her dressing skill

Widya is at present the sexiest actress in B-town.
She's so seductive, even when she doesn't even try to be.
Bebo, Kat et al can learn at least a thousand things from her on seduction and being sexy on screen.

She is also easily one of the best actresses around at the moment, along with Konkona, Kangana, Priyanka, Rani, Kajol...

You will never see her in a bimbo role just there in a film to look good and get a quick hit i.e. Kareena, Katrina, Deepika, Sonam..

She has done a good job at shaking things up in bollywood..she gave a variety to viewers in the Kareena and Priyanka war... i am enjoying her movies.. in the supposed pri.. kareena era... she manages to hold my attention in her off beat movies.. and her semi offbeat and mainstream movies.. she performs well when she is supposed to and manages to deliver.. VB... katrina.. anushka.. have provided interesting variety in acting.. and glamor.. otherwise i would have been bored of kareena and priyanka..

Well... In today's Bollywood in the middle of mediocre talent to no talent at all anyone with a little more talent than the others is put on a pedestal....
