I do agree with bebo that she doesn't need to do offbeat films to show off her skill (JWM)...but I just wish that she chooses better scripts to show off her skills in commercial films eg Ra.One is not acceptable. If this was the only film she has coming out this year, I would be so mad at her. But since she has other films where she has an important role like in AV and Reema K's Next and even in STS...than her wasting her time with Ra.one is not a big deal to me. She even said that she has a good role in Bodyguard...BUT I have a hard time believing that she does lol...But even in Golmaal 3 she said she had a good role and we all thought she was lying because she had no role in GR..but she proved all the bebo fans wrong...she was the hero of the film. So hopefully she proves me wrong about Bodyguard too!

I kinda agree with her though. I mean why is it that someone must to do an offbeat role for it to be regarded as an an outstanding performance and an actor or actress with skill. Sometimes I think that just the idea of a role being offbeat that gives people the impression that this actor or actress's acting is so good, sometimes performances in offbeat roles are way overrated because of peoples perceptions about that type of film making.

I strongly agree...sometimes, ppl do confuse between "effort" and "performance"...an actress puts in a lot of effort and takes a risk, by doing a complicated character or an offbeat movie...but that dosent automantically translate to good performance always....

I wouldn't go anywhere for him. I think Shah Rukh is our answer to Tom Cruise. For me he is bigger than Tom Cruise. And talking of Hollywood, I don't like doing things that I will not be able to do. To get a role there you have to give screen tests, park yourself there for about 7-8 months, and then maybe you'll get a two-bit role. I'd rather enjoy the best of Bollywood.

which reminds me....do any of these ppl even give screen tests??

its just a direct signing on isnt it?? Therz a look test, but tht happens after an actor is finalized to see wht clothes would suit her and the character...

so like, none of them give screen tests anymore??..The should do them....would save ppl so much time and effort in wasting their money on craptastic performances in films....

star kids are signed for films the minute they are born.. and most others go arnd getting roles on sheer connections.. in some cases it depends on who you are bedding..😆

i can't imagine any of these guys with egos the size of mount Everest giving screen shots..😆

egos huh.....

they really do think they are god's gift to mankind....

almost all the ppl ive met, except amitabh, juhi chawla and rajnikanth who were quite humble and down to earth i must say.....srk, sallu, ash, saifu, rani, priety, kajol....ALL gave me cold "get out of here u mere mortal" stares.....heck even celina jately did tht to me and i was like "dude...ur not even a star so shove the attitude" 😆
