My birdy from Bandra has just dropped in, claiming to have the inside information on why Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone broke up.

Seems Ranbir happened to check on Deepika's mobile, and was shocked to see maximum messages from Farhan Akhtar. Curiosity got the better of him and he proceeded to read some of them, I'm told. Bas, aur kya? Apparently, Ranbir wasn't too pleased to read them, so he went on to read them all. He was shocked to read the kind of sandeshas his girlfriend was exchanging with her co-star from Karthik Calling Karthik and confronted her about them.

Suna hai, Deepika tried reasoning with Ranbir and downplay the issue. But the Kapoor munda was in no mood to listen. So when he saw his trust broken, Ranbir saw no point in continuing the relationship and called it off, elaborates my birdy. Hmm.
