I also want to know this. Why did Amitabh, Rekha, Jaya agreed to do the movie Silsila? I mean isn't it wierd to let off the complete affair story on celluloid? Even if Yash Chopra wanted to make the movie, why would the actors agree? If I am not wrong then Sanjeev Kumar was also in that movie and there have been rumors about Sanjeev Kumar and Jaya B's affair

She was probably suffering from some kind of concussion. 😆😆

I did read that Yash Chopra convinced her and so did Amitabh.

I think then Mrs B was probably not aware of undercurrents.,,,or maybe she wanted to keep a check on them on the sets...

Wanting to keep an eye on them would be a good theory except for the fact that when they went to go shoot all those romantic scenes in Holland only AB and Rekha went,Jaya did not go so guess she couldn't really keep a check on them there lol!

Your concussion theory makes more sense because I cannot understand why she would want to put herself in a movie in which Rekha is hanging all over her husband!
