there are ton of pointless films, I would also mention that bollywood lacks creativity in filmmaking style. they don't specialize in camera work.

so far the positive results of filmmaking I've seen if from Ram Gopal Verma's Nishabd using camera paced scenes and Dhobi Ghaat also experimented a lot using regular cameras.

bollywood films lack lighting, background music, small little things that eventually make up to be a great film.
