^Maddy I know. I think ppl love the rajni hysteria more than the movies itself. Ive been to theatres for a few FDFS stuff- it is mass hysteria indeed. with prayers and poojas and stuff. it is fun and the FDFS junta watch the movie again because nobody understood what happened the first time.

He is a nice guy though..never cares about how he looks..still remember his bus conductor days and stuff.

He even pays back the distributors if his movie flops.

@Bandicoot... Yeah... I watched Endhiran in the theater here in the US and during Rajni intro scene people where throwing coins, dollar bills on the screen... 😆

and Sivaji .. I watched in Bangalore and my cousin said if you want to see true hysteria you shld watch this movie in a single screen theatre and not at a multiplex.... and what an experience it was..... each time he came on screen ..the cheers... the confetti throwing... people hurling garlands on the screen...

The popularity Rajnikanth has is just unbeatable...

^^oh absolutely....i think he is a fantastic actor...i know many ppl dont notice tht aspect of him because of all the madness...but it takes a truly phenomenal actor to pull of something as crazy as endhiran....and if u see his earlier performances, and some of his 90's movies...he is absolutely brilliant in those...plus the best part is...he has the most adorable off screen persona.....😳...

Looks like Rajni has started making his bucket list already, lets hope this young girl obsession ends at DP. This man makes me pull my hair out and I still don't see the appeal. I tried very hard but there's no logic whatsoever. 🤢

^ LOL the biggest grouse for endhiran among all my friends was that it did not have a rajni intro scene nor did it have any punch dialogue😆

i used to live near two popular single screen theatres in chennai(right opposite each other )..roads get blocked when his movie releases for crowd control. that is teh way it works. FDFS, the film reel is taken to temple for pooja

and endhiran FDFS was at 4am

yes...at my uni...normally tamil movies dont get screened....its only hindi and english ones....but endhiran was screened for 4 weeks!!!! 😆...ppl were just turning up in crazy numbers...and there was huge repeat audience...
