Confusion about Tees Maar khan budget!
-On Box Office india, they said the budget is 30 crores

(what is the budget of Yamla Pagla Deewana and Tees Maar Khan?

A. 20 crore for Yamla Pagla Deewana and 27-28 crore for Tees Maar Khan, the Deols don't have a remuneration but some sort of profit sharing deal. Tees Maar Kahan is 30 crore and here Akshay Kumar and Farah Khan have a profit sharing deal.) I think that's why the final verdict is Semi-Hit

-On Bollywood Hangama, they said total investment on TMK is 67 crores.I think that's why Taran adharsh final verdict is Below average.

Which one is the right one?????

I think boxofficeindia included dvd, satellite rights and stupid stuff like that that the audience doesnt need to know. Taran Adarsh based his verdict on how the movie performed at the theatres.

I have checked on google, almost all the website sait TMK flopped and it didn't recover it,s investment and only on Boxoffice india, it said it's Semi-hit!

The budget really doesn't matter.The film has not been good for anyone..Not Farah,Akki or Katrina.There are more exciting directors and actors making their presence felt every day.

AkKi and Katrina also have the dubious distinction of being the worst actors in the industry.

The rule of thumb for big films with big stars is..If the film doesn't collect life time earnings,double the weekend collections it is considered rejected..TMK and Anjaana Anjaani are examples.

For smaller films with slow start and small budgets..A film should double its first week total to be considered a success..eg Ishqiya,Athithi,Paa,BBB etc..
