Ishq....I have seen this movie more than 200x easily, second is Ek Ladka Ek Ladki lol.

I never got the hype around SLB. I never liked any of his movies, even HDDCS. Bad me lol. Guru Dutt was amazing I think. Have you seen Kagaz Ke Phool?

From 90s I loved the Govinda-Karishma jodi. I don't mind meaningful cinema now and again, but I'd take Hero No. 1 over all of them lol.

I love HAHK just b/c of it being overtly mushy lol. I loved the romance in the old movies. Nowadays with all the kissing and sex scenes, it just usually makes it look crude IMO. Bollywood kissing scenes reminds me of Phil and Lil from Rugrats and their take on kissing: wonder what's on their face that they are trying to eat lol

Ok last one, I promise. This song is so...sensual. 😆 Also music be it from the 60's or 90's, the singers and music directors elevated the films with it.

Oh, and I do miss Akshay's body hair...and non waxed eye brows. In fact, I say, men look effeminate now a days due to waxing, shaving, and threading.

kaagaz ke phool...dunt get me started..i'll probably write essays on it and ppl would get maha bored...but it is a bloddy good movie...

yeh and i agree abt the romance part...nowadays its like...boy girl meet...break up for silly reasons...meet again....THE END.....its like:

boy: "Hey i love u"

girl: "Cool lets go get pizza"....

all of todays romcoms ape the hollywood style of romance, and fail miserably....true we are way more practical and realistic ppl today than we were in the 90's....but tht dosent mean we dunt have a soul...therz no intensity in todays romance....except maybe an occasional JWM or BBB which is funny and shows some depth...but other than that...👎🏼

i blame YRF for all this...i think all these wannabe-cool romance films started off with Salaam namaste...
