Good point. But wouldnt the 2000's be OUR time... since I probably wont be having kids until way later on..I mean I just turned 18 two months ago...then how come I'm not in LOVE with the 2000's but the 1999's ??? I was more into the bollywood movies phase in the 2000's compared to the 90's ..since I couldnt really understand what was going on until I was 4-5 years...and that was starting from the years of 97-98...I remember being OBSESSED with the Karishma Salman jodi..those were the days 😍Originally posted by: qwertyfied
Yes, even I miss 'em but I really dunno how they'd work out now. Film makers just need to stay true to the times...like DCH was all hip n cool yet had a realistic touch without being overly western or exaggerated. On the other hand, Vivaah was like the 90's movies, which we seem to crave..but really, how unrealistic was that movie? & the one that came after..the one with Sonu Soon-Eesha Kophikar..gosh *cringefest*
I think the same mentality also applies to our parents...even as a kid in the 90's, I remember my mum comparing our awesomely colorful movies to her b/w slooooow movies and how fantastic they were as compared to ours. Back then, perhaps, the only 90's movie my mum appreciated was Rudali and trust me, u dont wanna watch it... 😆I guess, its a vicious cycle 😉
