I feel as if we have been brainwashed into beauty ideals and such can't seem to take Freida seriously. Because we apparently do want our actresses to be pretty and Freida's not that type of ideal beauty (tall, wide-eyed, whatnot)😆

Also, the hatred could stem through the fact that she bypassed Bollywood to do the western Hollywood😊

Well....I was not talking about popularity but mass appeal....it means the extent to which people i.e loreal's customer can identify with ash or freida......I think freida is still to establish that connection with audience.........

In the past one and half yr freida has done four international commericial for loreal which is shown all over the world(excluding india).But ash's recent commericals aren't shown anywhere outside india.This clearly proves who has a bigger mass appeal worldwide

yeah but she is!! She's been exposed much more than Freida has...I think in a few year's time Freida will be widely know, but her mass appeal is less than Aishu! Plus for me west isn't just North America, but also Europe...and she's widely known and loved in European and South American countries!

I have to disagree with you here.Ash is quiet popular only in france because she has been going there for over 6 yrs now.But freida is definetely more well known worldwide due to her holly projects,photo shoots and loreal commercials(which are shown even in countries like japan,russia,german etc)

I think Freida is so beautiful but somehow I don't connect with her

who ever said aish's ads isn't played outside of india. I live in the USA and aish is everywhere with her ads, to the mall to the store to tv channels

Is she? I've only seen her twice and both on tv😕...I see Freida more on tv than Aish

Its a good choice. Because I think more people know frieda than Aish because of slumdog millionaire. Aish is not as popular as people think in hollywood. I had a lot of American friends who ask me who is she. And I never see Aish ads in america anymore. Frieda's ads is what's showing now.

Not only that. But I think Freida is a good choice because her accent is not heavy as Aish's. So she could pass as "American" than Aish.
