This is odd, I think the media confused the two ideas. Coz I know that saif said he'll be keeping the film written by Imtiaz for the future, and the one by Homi was not written by Imtiaz. It wouldnt make sense for it to. Homi's a completley different kidn fo director. His movies are very edgy and bizzare. Have you seen Being Cyrus?

That's why I highly doubt they'd choose him to direct a rom com made my Imtiaz.

The imtiaz film is most probably completely different and hte media assumes its the same one.

I'm sure they did, coz hte imran deepiak project was always something comlpetely different. And that one was soley under Dino.

While saif was gonna venture out and do the project with Sid and PRiyanka.

Deepika's love for Imran!

It's an A-grade casting decision, given the director and screenwriter involved. Deepika Padukone confirms, mentioning she hasn't spoken about the film yet, Imran Khan and her will romance each other over a romantic script, written by Imtiaz Ali (Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal) and to be directed by Homi Adajania.

"Imtiaz thought that Homi would be the best person to direct it, which is why they formed an alliance. I am also doing a Rohit Dhawan (director David Dhawan's son) film, a romantic comedy, which stars Akshay Kumar and John Abraham," says Padukone.

Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone will once again be seen together in Homi Adajania's yet untitled film.

The makers of the film were in a dilemma for a long time about whom to cast opposite Imran in the quirky comedy. However, after watching Imran-Deepika's chemistry in trailers of Kunal Kohli's yet-to-to be released film "Break Ke Baad", they decided to once again cast the two actors together.

The script of the film is being written by writer-director Imtiaz Ali, who has helmed movies "Jab We Met" and "Love Aaj Kal".

This is Adajania's second film as a director. He had previously won critical accolades for his directorial debut "Being Cyrus", which starred Saif Ali Khan. It is being produced by Saif's ex-business partner Dinesh Vijan.

INteresting...but then why oust Imran? And where did saif come in?

Saifu's movies are so all over the place right now. Is he or is he not doing Vishal's? He opted otu of kunal's and sid's (not htat i"m complaining) and now doing homi's, and then rumors of Race 2, and now confirmed for Prakash Jha's wiht Amitabh.

WHAT IS HSE DOING?

I think as of now ,the only CONFIRMED saif project is Agent VInod. Confirmed only because he's actually shooting it, lol

Oh no not again! Deepika again in one of her 1035345 times played contemporary roles. She is the poster child for wannabe contemporariness, even after doing the same role 1000 times she just seems the same every time. I am glad if Imran is out of this, audience did need a break from them after BKB, and god bless Saifu. 😆
