Well, the accolades are just pouring in. With the year end in sight, Akshay Kumar is already on his way to collecting awards, what with 2005 being one of his best years so far. The actor is giving the younger lot some terrific competition. The latest is that a New York based publication has actually declared the actor 'Star of the year' because of his back-to-back seven hits in a row, starting with Khakee and ending with Garam Masala. "Yes, I am flattered and happy that I have been conferred such a title," says the actor. Looks like there's no doubt about who the winner of 2005 is when it comes to box-office appeal, is there?
