^^yeh but i think the reason why IHLS did well was coz there was no competetion as such...and the movie had a good opening which recovered the money....but as far as appreciation goes...i dunt remember anyone in my friends/college circle who said the movie was "good"...a good opening dosent guarantee a good film...same with endhiran...its gonna get a mind boggling opening for sure...which might recover all the costs...but if the movie is absolute crap...then no ones gonna watch it after the first 2 weeks...

^yeah that's why I wish AA was a solo release lol. And I agree...I'm not a big fan of the director either. SN was still okay but BAH was boringish. Oh well, let's see.

Yes IHLS is a corny minor hit, Ranbir kapoor is not a superstar, Robot is going to be the biggest hit in north India and Tollywood is going to take over bollywood??? And anyone who thinks otherwise is living in a bubble and is delusional.. ya sure i get it!! 😆

What bubble? I didn't like IHLS at all. But in terms of BO, the movie did well, didn't it? That's all I was saying. Didn't say anything about the kinda movie it was.

As far as Pri is concerned, please remind me of her last genuine hit? all her recent releases have been either minor hits,average successes or big flops. Krishh and Don does not count since all the credit went to the male leads and she was just a glam doll in those films.

AA will still flop because the trailers are corny,awful director and even according to many reliable sources, Ranbir is not atll confident about the film and he has bee going around dissing the film discreetly by saying the film has a bad script(which is evident from the trailers).

oh and you just cannot disregard Rajni by saying he is not popular in North, are you forgetting the abundance of South Indians living in the North? They will obvously flock to see Robot and his number of fans in the North/South easily outnumbers the fanfollowing of Ranbir/PC.

so bottom line, Ranbir/Pri might be popular among the multiplex yuppies but lets face it - they are nothing compared to the dynamic team of Rajni/Ash/Shankar/ARR and their fanatical fans will easily demolish the yuppie crowd.

Lmao it's not just me who's given him the next superstar tag. The media gave it to him way before I did 🤣 The dude has had 6 releases. Only 2 actually flopped by BO standards. That's all I am saying.

well its raking so high coz there is Rajnikanth, aish i don't think she has much to do in the film rather than looking pretty

i may be wrong, but i can see this movie as all Ranjikanth movie, aish is just a small part of it i think

All tickets for the weekend sold out in the UK. never seen so much hysteria for a tamil movie.

To understand the real magic of Rajinikanth you must see a movie of his in a cinema in the first week. people go crazy and bersek. Initially even I didnt undestand the whole fuss, esp given that I'm not a big fan of mindless cinema.

However rajini's movies take you another world and is a totally different experience all together. the best thing about his movies are that they are very simple and unpretentious. Anyone can see it and enjoy it.
