Well that is what happens if people don't stick to proper rules and procedures, you get ambiguity at the end!! Yes democracy is for name sake if gov has to declare state holidays due to a verdict. Yes it holds a lot of religious and sentimental value, but the show must go one. The world shouldn't stop for anything..

Exactly. It shouldn't, but it does. What I am saying is why should the producers/distributors and everyone involved with the movie suffer because of government's incompetency?

Its a chain reaction, producers get scared delay movies, even state gov declares holidays.. it has to stop somewhere and somehow.. Someone has to stand up.. otherwise.. its just a lose lose situation for everyone. It sounds idealistic.. but someone has got to do something.. otherwise its hard to see any change.. and change does come from unexpected places usually.

Agreed but the movie is too small and the issue is too huge. If the team of AA takes the idealistic route, it would make zilch difference. Nobody is bigger than religion here.
And as much as I like the idealistic view, I think this whole communal conflict is way beyond repair. I was reading someone's blog who had an agnostic opinion on the whole case but did say that it was foolish to fight over a 400 year old issue. In the comment section, a lot of well-educated, highly articulate people opposed his view, stating that no crime is too old and a temple must be built there at any cost. All of it is just so..deeply rooted and widespread, it scares the shit out of me.

It doesn't need to be repaired, conflicts are second nature to humans. But, people shouldn't resort to barbaric violence. As long as it is peaceful where people get to express their feelings and argue in a civil way then it is ok. Lets face it, its hard to tell people who have lived and breathed the conflict and this issue to just forget about it all of a sudden. The only thing is that other things must go on, the whole country shouldn't come to a halt because of a conflict no matter how big or small it is.
