Author acts with Priyanka

Movies' being based on books isn't a new phenomenon. But, the starring of the author in the movie based on his book is indeed great. You may remember that author Ruskin Bond has made an appearance in Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Saat Khoon Maaf'. He plays a brief role of a priest in the film. 'Saat Khoon Maaf' is based on Ruskin Bond's book Sussane's Seven Husbands. This is Vishal's second film after 'The Blue Umbrella' to be based on Bond's book. The director convinced the author to face the camera. So, Bond was flown down to Mussoorie especially for the shoot where he shot a scene with Priyanka. Bond plays the priest with whom Priyanka has an interaction. Bond was reportedly a little nervous as he had never faced the camera before.
